With the latest COROS x Insta360 integration, you can now sync your COROS activity stats to your Insta360 footage. Overlay your COROS data such as GPS, elevation, route details, speed, and more directly on your footage.
Setting Up Your COROS and Insta360 Devices
Pair your Insta360 camera to the Insta360 app and update the firmware if prompted.
When you are ready to start recording your activity, start by tracking the activity on your COROS device. After this, start recording video on your Insta360.
Tip: For accurate timestamps between your COROS device and Insta camera, make sure to connect your camera to the Insta360 app ahead of time to obtain the correct timestamp from your phone.
When your activity is finished, sync your device to your COROS app. Your Insta360 footage will sync automatically to your Insta360 app and is viewable by clicking the Album button at the bottom of the app.
Overlaying COROS Data on your Insta360 Footage
Now that your activity and footage are recorded, you can overlay and customize your data within the Insta360 app.
1. From the Album page, select the video file you wish to edit.
2. Click the Edit button at the bottom of the page.
3. Scroll down to the Effect menu and select Stats.
4. Select COROS as your data source and log in with your COROS account information to authorize the initial integration. Insta360 will then automatically sync data from your latest COROS activity with your recorded footage based on timestamps.
5. Now you can select or deselect any data points such as speed, elevation, route, and more. Swipe between data overlay formats to choose one that best fits your content.
6. When you are finished, click the checkmark in the bottom right corner, then Export. Your video will be saved along with the new data overlay.
