Correct resting heart rate and maximum heart rate information is important to ensure the accuracy of fitness-related data including VO2 Max, lactate threshold, and threshold pace data. Please follow the instructions below.
- On the Profile page of the COROS app, tap on Settings.
- Select "Heart Rate Zone".
- Select "Heart Rate Reserve Zone" from the Zone Types drop-down menu.
- Enter the correct reading for the resting and maximum heart rate.
The best time to measure your RHR is when you just wake up and are still in bed. When you feel your pulse, count the number of beats in 10 seconds. Multiply this number by 6 to calculate your beats per minute. RHR doesn't take your heart rate during sleep into consideration.
