If those who have more than one bike, it can be cumbersome to move the remote and holder between multiple bikes. A great solution is to order spare remotes for your bikes via https://us.coros.com/accessories.php.
However, only one remote can be paired with one helmet/phone. You are required to go through the remote pairing process if you need to use a different remote on another bike.
OMNI and SafeSound remote pairing
- Power on the helmet, open the COROS app and make sure the helmet is active on the Device page.
- Download the COROS app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- Tap the helmet image to open a new page with additional settings.
- Select "Remote" and follow the instructions to complete the pairing process.
- 4-digit ID for the remote can be found at the bottom of the rear side of the remote and under FCC ID.
- The center yellow button should light up when any button is pressed. If not, please check below for tips on fixing your remote.
LINX remote pairing
- Power on the helmet, open the LINX app and make sure the helmet is active on the Device page.
- Download the LINX app from the iOS App Store or Android apk link.
- Tap the helmet image to open a list and select the helmet to complete the pairing with the app.
- Helmet can't be added to the LINX app if it's been added to the COROS app.
- Use the LINX app for remote pairing only.
- Use the COROS app for other features.
- Select "Remote" and follow the instructions to complete the pairing process.
- The center yellow button should light up when any button is pressed. If not, please check below for tips on fixing your remote.
Remote not working?
- SafeSound/OMNI doesn't share the same remote with LINX. Please make sure you have the correct remote for your helmet.
- SafeSound/OMNI remote
- Center yellow button displays a caller icon and play/pause icon.
- LINX remote
- Center yellow button displays a U or C shaped icon.
- SafeSound/OMNI remote
- Ensure the battery is functioning.
- A CR2032 battery is required.
- Replace with a new one if necessary.
- Ensure the battery placement is correct.
- The positive should face towards you.
- Reverse the battery placement and try again.
