What is COROS EvoLab and how does it work?
COROS EvoLab is the revamped COROS sports science platform revolutionizing the way athletes receive personalized fitness, fatigue, and performance evaluations to maximize training efforts and efficiently achieve fitness goals. EvoLab focuses on the general fitness for all workout types throughout the training season and offers powerful metrics to monitor daily, weekly, and long-term training load, recovery, intensity, and more. Your training data is converted into straightforward, accurate, and helpful feedback during and after training on your watch and the COROS app. Additional features are available for road runners to track and improve their performance on the flat and paved road running. More features will be developed for various activity types such as cycling and trail running in the future.

Who developed EvoLab?
EvoLab is developed entirely by COROS. Over the last 12 months, the COROS sports science team has spent countless hours developing EvoLab with the help of hundreds of avid runners around the world beta testing the features for over 6 months.
When can I start using EvoLab for my training?
COROS is conducting a global public beta program to further polish the features and algorithms of EvoLab in the following weeks. If all final testings go well, EvoLab is expected to be released to public and become available for all COROS users in June 2021.
Do I have to pay for EvoLab?
Absolutely not. EvoLab is free for all COROS users and will become more and more powerful as we continue to add new features to it. Just as what we have been doing in the past 3 years, frequent software updates are brought to all COROS watches adding various new features and performance enhancements. This is not just to create greater value for our users and enhance customer satisfaction, but also to keep all COROS watches working longer – a nice way to reduce the burden on our planet and increase sustainability.
How do I enroll in the COROS EvoLab Public Beta Program?
We are now accepting up to 1,000 users globally to try out EvoLab and help to make it even better. COROS users of any watch model are eligible to join this program on our website or via this link. Approved users will be receiving instructions to download the beta app and watch firmware on a rolling basis in the following weeks.
Does EvoLab support non-COROS data imported to my COROS account?
We understand that there may be times when your training isn't tracked by your COROS watch. After the public rollout of EvoLab, non-COROS data imported to your COROS account can be included for EvoLab automatically. However, this isn't supported during the public beta testing. Check out this blog for details on how to import data recorded from non-COROS devices.
