route and heart rate export to Apple Health
Hi,
putting as another piece of feedback and a separate topic. Running and climbing are the two sports.
Activities get added to Apple Health, however, I see that - in the case of running- it does not the full GPS track and heart rate data. The same for strength training, or any activity.
Apple Health is my long-term hub for all data, partly as I also use other 3rd party apps such as HealthFit and Athletic to provide a 2nd set of eyes on activities/effort/training-load/etc (especially as Coros effort ratings for various activities are...odd to say the least. Examples being strength training giving very perceived low training load ratings, indoor treadmill, etc.).
For context, there's almost 10 years worth of data in Apple Health and I plan to continue with it as a primary hub. If Coros wants the activity data in return, I'm fine with that also.
I've tried using RunGap or HealthFit to do the import, however, it appears they can't handle the data files....
Overall great watch and company so just adding feedback on observations I'm seeing.

Hey Neal,
Thanks again for sharing your feedback and suggestions! We are always so appreciative of COROS users who take the time to contact us with ideas on how we can improve their experience with their devices.
You are right here- at the moment our integration with Apple Health does not push activity data such as real time heart rate or GPS tracks from COROS to Apple. I will certainly note your suggestion for our development team for further discussion. While I am not sure if it will be implemented (or if this integration is possible at the moment), I can assure you it has been passed on for review.0 -
Hey Stephanie,
thanks for confirming it's not something I can resolve on my end. One odd quirk - why is that RunGap can read the GPS and heart rate track, but can't export?
Hopefully you change your mind on this - as always, there's some valid context on my side. When using an Apple Watch previously, I made use of a few different apps to give comparisons (Athlytic, Healthfit) for giving feedback on training effort. Coros feedback is excellent, however, it would be great to get a 2nd set of eyes on the effort...
