Connect your AllTrails and COROS accounts to sync routes from AllTrails to your COROS watch, and upload your completed activities to AllTrails.
Getting Started
To connect your accounts, open your AllTrails app to the Profile page. Tap the Settings icon near the top right corner, then open the "Connected devices" menu. From here, you can select COROS and log in with your COROS account credentials.
While connecting your accounts, you can choose what data syncs between COROS and AllTrails:
- COROS activities: Toggle this on to automatically upload any completed COROS activities to your AllTrails profile.
- AllTrails routes: Toggle this on to display a shortcut to "sync with COROS" anytime you view a route in the AllTrails app. This shortcut can be accessed from the overflow menu (top right corner) when you're viewing an AllTrails route.
- Auto-sync for routes: When this is toggled on, anytime you download a route in the AllTrails app, it will automatically sync the route to your COROS route library.
Sync Routes from AllTrails to COROS
Any AllTrails user can send routes to their COROS device. There are a few different ways to sync routes, depending on whether you are an AllTrails Base, Plus, or Peak member.
Quick Sync
Who: AllTrails Plus and Peak subscribers
How: Use the "Send to COROS" button on routes to quickly send routes to their COROS route library. To do so:
- Open any route in the AllTrails app.
- Select the three dots in the top right corner and choose "Send to COROS."
- Open your COROS app to the Explore page, and select the Route Library near the top right corner. where you can view the route map, elevation profile, and other details.
- Select "Sync with your device" to send the route to your watch.
When you're ready to use navigation, open your desired activity mode on your COROS watch (Trail Run, Hike, etc.) and scroll down to Navigation to locate your newly synced route.
Manual Route Export
Who: Any AllTrails user, including Base members.
How: Export route files to open with the COROS app. Follow the steps below:
- Open any route in the AllTrails app or on AllTrails.com.
- Select the three dots in the top right corner and choose "Export Route File."
- On a desktop computer, you will also need to select "GPX Track" as the file type to download.
- Some phones may automatically prompt you to choose an app to open the route file, in which case you can skip to Step #4. Otherwise, you will need to first save the route file to your Files or Downloads folder on your phone/computer where you can easily locate it.
- Choose to open the route file with the COROS app. It will open in the Explore page, where you can view the route map, elevation profile, and other details.
- If you downloaded the route file on a computer, you will need to first share the route file to your phone via AirDrop, text message, or email. Then you can open it with the COROS app.

- Select "Save Route" at the bottom of the screen.
- Select "Sync with your device" to send the route to your watch.
When you're ready to use navigation, open your desired activity mode on your COROS watch (Trail Run, Hike, etc.) and scroll down to Navigation to locate your newly synced route.
Automatic Route Download
Who: AllTrails Plus and Peak subscribers
How: Automatically sync a route to COROS whenever it is downloaded in the AllTrails app. To set up automatic downloads, head to the Profile page in your AllTrails app and open Settings > Connected Devices > COROS. Make sure the option to "auto send routes to COROS" is toggled on.
Now, anytime you download a route within the AllTrails app, it will simultaneously sync to your COROS Route Library. The Route Library is located in the Explore page of the COROS app. Open the newly synced route and press "Sync with your device" to send the route to your watch. When you're ready to use navigation, open your desired activity mode on your COROS watch (Trail Run, Hike, etc.) and scroll down to Navigation to locate the route.
FAQs
If you encounter any issues connecting your accounts, please try the steps below:
- Update your AllTrails and COROS apps to the latest versions.
- Switch phone browsers: Force close both apps. Then change your phone's default browser to Chrome. Try connecting your accounts again from the 3rd Party Apps page in the COROS app.
Yes. If you edit the route within the AllTrails app, you will need to re-sync it to your COROS app via one of the methods described above. You can also edit routes directly in the COROS app by going to the Explore page > open the Route Library folder > select the route.
After making your changes, make sure to re-sync the route to your COROS watch before using navigation. Press the "Sync with your device" button from the route page to update the route information on your COROS watch.
