You can easily take phone calls right from your APEX 4. While you can’t start a call from the watch, you can answer and manage incoming calls with just a few quick actions. In order to receive calls, please make sure your phone is nearby and connected to your APEX 4 with the COROS app running in the background.
- Answer a call: When a call comes in, press the Dial once to answer. To send the call to voicemail, press the Back button.
- Silence the alert: If you’d like to stop the ringing or vibration without rejecting the call, press the Action button. The call will continue showing on screen until you answer or it goes to voicemail.
- Adjust volume or mute: During a call, press the Dial once to bring up audio controls. Here you can scroll the Dial to adjust speaker volume, or press the Action button to mute and unmute your microphone. After making your adjustments, return to the main call screen by pressing the Back button.
- View the watch face: If you need to check the time or access limited features, press the Action button to return to your watch face, and your call will stay active in the background.
- End the call: When you're ready to hang up, press the Back button.
FAQs
What happens if there are two incoming calls at the same time?
The watch follows the phone's incoming call order and can only display one call notification at a time.
- If Call A comes in and hasn’t been answered yet, the watch will only alert you for Call A.
- If Call A is declined or ends while Call B is still ringing, the watch will then alert you for Call B.
- If you’re already on Call A and Call B comes in, the watch will continue showing the Call A screen. Once Call A ends, if Call B is still ringing, the watch will prompt you for that call.
Can incoming calls be received if headphones are connected and playing music?
If you are listening to music via headphones paired to your APEX 4, you can still receive an incoming call on the watch. APEX 4 will vibrate and play a tone to alert you. When you dismiss or end the call, music playback will automatically resume.
Can I disable sounds/tones for incoming calls?
Yes. On your watch, go to System → More Settings → Sound and Vibration → Tones → Message and Call Alerts, then toggle these OFF.
