Customize your widget layout by opening your COROS app to the Profile page > select your PACE 4 > select Customization. Then choose "Daily Data" to display the full list of widgets that can be displayed.

Using the layers icon on the right-hand side of the screen, you can drag and drop the different fields into any order that you would like. The widget which is shown at the top of the screen on the COROS app will appear as the first data available when scrolling down on your watch.

To remove or add widgets, you can use the +/- buttons on the left-hand side of the COROS app. All of the widgets that are currently appearing on your watch will appear under the "Manage Daily Data display order" heading. Widgets that are not displayed on your watch will appear under the "Hidden Daily Data" field.

After customizing your widgets to your preference, make sure to choose the "Save" button in the upper right-hand corner of the app to populate these changes to your watch. If you want to reset the widgets to factory settings, choose "Restore Defaults" at the bottom of the COROS app.

Daily Activity
  •  Active Calories is an estimation of the calories burned during recorded workouts, and any times when your watch records a cadence over 130 steps/minute, most common when walking quickly.
  • Exercise Time is the amount of recorded activity tracking during the day.
  • Steps includes the total steps during and outside of activities for the day. The step counter uses your watch hardware and proprietary algorithms.
  • Floors Climbed uses your watch's barometer to estimate the number of floors climbed throughout the day.
Running Fitness

Running Fitness represents your marathon performance.  Runners typically have different strengths and weaknesses, and Running Fitness aims to utilize each of the individual ability scores (Endurance, Threshold, Speed, and Sprint) to better understand areas of strength, and areas to improve.

Running Fitness is updated with activities recorded in Run or Track Run modes.

Training Load

Training Load is a function of exercise volume (e.g. exercise time, exercise distance) and exercise intensity (e.g. heart rate, pace). Training Load represents the amount of exercise stress your body is subjected to.  All activity modes recorded with heart rate data contribute to Training Load.

The Training Load widget shows today's cumulative Training Load from all activities, plus the suggested range for this week based on your Base Fitness and the amount of training completed in recent weeks.

Training Status

Training Status is calculated based on a rolling average of 7 days (Load Impact, or short-term fitness) and 42 days (Base Fitness, or long-term fitness) to indicate how effective your most recent training was.

Intensity Trend describes the impact of your current training in relation to recent training.

Recovery

COROS assesses your real-time Recovery based on a combination of your Base Fitness, Training Load and remaining energy since your last exercise. Typically, you do not need to be fully recovered before you start the next training session. You can schedule your training according to different Recovery recommendations.

Weekly Distance

View your weekly distance totals for running, cycling, and swimming activities. The total resets on Monday of each week.

The following activity modes contribute to Weekly Distance: Run, Track Run, Trail Run, Indoor Run, Road Bike, Gravel Bike, MTB, E-Bike, E-MTB, Pool Swim, and Open Water Swim.

Daily Heart Rate

Your COROS watch captures real-time heart rate data every 1 second during activity tracking, and once every 10 minutes in daily use.  The HR widget also displays the maximum, minimum and average heart rate of the last 6 hours. Press the Dial and scroll to view historical heart rate data from the last 24 hours.

Barometer

View the last updated barometric/atmospheric reading in hPa (Hectopascal Pressure) or mmHg.  The maximum, minimum, and average barometric/atmospheric readings from the last 6 hours are displayed.  Barometric/atmospheric data is recorded once every 10 minutes in daily use. Please note, air conditioners and heaters can impact the accuracy of barometric readings.

Press the dial to view historical barometric data from the last 24, 48, or 72 hours.

Press the dial again to change the data source, display range, pressure units, and Storm Alert settings.

  • Data Source: Switch between Sea-level Pressure/Station Pressure. Station pressure is measured at a station without any altitude adjustment like from a house or the top of a mountain. It will change at various altitudes. Sea-level pressure is the station pressure adjusted to the sea level. It is often used for predicting weather changes at the current altitudes.
  • Display Range: Toggle between the last 6, 12, 18, or 24 hours.
  • Pressure Units: Choose from hpa or mmHg.
  • Storm Alert: If enabled, your COROS watch alert you if a drop of 4 hPa or more in 3 hours is detected.
Sleep

Your COROS watch automatically detects and tracks sleeps and naps. Any sleep period shorter than 3 hours is categorized as a nap, while any sleep lasting longer than 3 hours is categorized as sleep, and will receive a Sleep Quality score. After waking up, you can view this data in the Sleep and Overnight HRV widgets on the watch, or in the first page of your COROS app.

Overnight HRV

If you wear your watch to sleep, COROS will monitor your HRV automatically. HRV (Heart Rate Variability) indicates the state of your body's autonomic nervous system. Your body is in a normal and good state of stabilization when it is balanced. When it is out of balance, your body is in an unstable and abnormal state, usually accompanied by fatigue, as a result of a major stressor. Overnight HRV tracks your normal or abnormal state, allowing you to make informed decisions about your work, life, and exercise balance.

Daily Stress

Stress tracking allows you to understand your current state of stress, as well as daily stress trends and overall stress levels. Your watch automatically tracks Daily Stress whenever you wear it, both during daily use and activities.

Stress is your physical and mental response to maintaining internal activities and responding to external stimuli. Typically, the greater the activity exertion, the greater the stress. Slight pressure may occur during sleep due to activity in the internal organs, nervous system, etc.

Note: Enabling Daily Stress will consume more battery life.

Elevation

This widget displays the last recorded elevation (in meters or feet), along with the maximum, minimum and average elevation of the last 6 hours.  Press the dial and scroll to view historical elevation data from the last 24 hours.

Elevation is calculated with the watch's barometer once every 10 minutes during daily use, and whenever the watch is synced to the app. During activity tracking, elevation is updated once every 2-5 seconds depending on the activity type.

Weather

Local weather data is synced from your connected smartphone. Press the dial to view more details such as percentage of rain, humidity, "feels like" temperature, UV index, AQI (depending on region), and a weather forecast for the next 6 hours or 14 days.

Notifications

Press the dial to view your recent notifications. You can customize notification settings from the Profile page in your COROS app.

Previous Activity

View your most recent historical activities on your PACE 4 with the Previous Activity widget. Open an activity and scroll through details such as heart rate, pace/speed, elevation, and more.

Music

Using your COROS charging adapter and a USB-C cable, you will first want to connect your PACE 4 to a Mac or PC. Once you have done so, wait for the watch to appear as an external hard drive on your computer. You will likely see this either on your desktop or in the "External Hard Drive" section of the disk management section of your computer.

Next, after selecting the watch hard drive on your computer you will see two folders, "Maps" and "Music". Open the "Music" folder on your hard drive. Using MP3 files stored locally on your computer (COROS watches only support MP3 format at this time), simply select the music you wish to download to your watch, then "drag and drop" the files from your computer into the "Music" folder on your PACE 4.

With the music now stored on your watch, you will want to ensure that you have either a speaker or Bluetooth headphones connected to your watch in order to play music, as the watch itself does not have speakers. To do so, hold the back button and navigate to Settings → Accessories → Add Bluetooth, and ensure your desired Bluetooth device is in Pairing Mode to make a connection.

Once you have headphones connected and music stored on the watch, all you will need to do is hold the BACK/LAP button, navigate to the "Music" icon and use either the touch screen or digital dial to begin playing music.
