To do so, open the Media Controls widget from your Toolbox by long-pressing the Back button. You can access Media Controls both during and outside of activities. On PACE 4, APEX 4, and NOMAD, you can also press the Action button or swipe across the touchscreen to jump from activity data pages to Media Controls.
Updated Lap Screen Design
Available on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S
The Lap screen has a refreshed look, whether you're viewing automatic laps or logging manual laps.
- The time that the lap screen remains on display has been increased from 5 seconds to 8 seconds (in most scenarios).
- You can dismiss the lap screen early:
- Manual Laps: Scroll the digital dial.
- Automatic Distance Laps: Scroll the digital dial or press the Back button.
- Automatic Distance laps now show lap time, lap pace (Run modes), lap power/speed (Bike modes), and lap elevation gain (Trail Run/Mountain Climb/Outdoor Climb) instead of the previous lap distance.
- When using automatic 1 mi / 1 km lap alerts, Lap heart rate will replace lap pace for more useful real-time insight (Lap Time will still be displayed, and because it also serves as your lap pace in this scenario, the duplicate field is removed and replaced with more useful data).
- Manual laps display the previous Lap Distance.
Undo Laps
Available on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S
Automatic Laps: For distance-based alerts (such as 1 km or 1 mile), you can dismiss the lap screen by pressing the Back button or scrolling the dial.
Structured Workouts (Run, Trail Run, and Bike modes): If you accidentally advance to the next workout phase, press Back before the lap screen times out to cancel transitioning to the next phase of the workout.
Manual Laps: Press Back to undo a manual lap before the lap screen times out.
Lap undo is not available for Swimming, Strength, Climbing, Skiing, or Jump Rope modes.
Optimizations to Strength Mode
We've removed the body part selection prompt after each exercise rep. As you move through exercises, the selected body part carries over and total sets automatically accumulate. You can always press the dial and select Next Parts anytime you need to switch.
You can now edit reps and weight for the most recent set or any previous set during your session, by pressing the dial and scrolling to Edit Data.
Temperature Widget
Available on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S
You can now view the current and historical temperature that your watch has measured from its temperature sensor in a new widget. From the main watch face, simply scroll down until you see the temperature widget.
New Cycling Personal Records
In the Profile page of the app, you can now view personal records for your cycling achievements. These include Longest Ride, Most Elevation Gain in a single ride, best average power for various durations, and personal records for 20km, 50km/mi, and 100km/mi.
Improved Map Details and Clarity
On APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, VERTIX 2, and VERTIX 2S, maps now distinguish roads and trails by color and line style.
Resume Later available for Run, Track Run, and Walk modes
More activity modes support the Resume Later feature, so you can pause and resume your runs or walks for extended periods of time and save it as a single activity. While tracking your Run, Track Run, or Walk, press the dial and scroll down to Resume Later. When you're ready to start the activity again, press the dial to enter the activity menu, and you'll be prompted to resume your previous session.

Customize electronic shifting commands on DURA
For Di2 shifting systems, you can now program your shifter buttons to do the following:
- Page up/page down (scroll between data pages)
- Open the map page
- Open the elevation page
- Create a lap
- Pause/resume
- Adjust DURA's screen brightness
On DURA, go to System > Accessories > select your Di2 to start customizing your settings.
Maximum Mean Power Curve (MMP Curve)
A new Maximum Mean Power (MMP) curve is now available within the FTP card, letting you review your power profile across key durations (1s, 3s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 60s, 5min, 10min, 20min, 30min, 1h, 2h, 3h, 4h). This helps you understand ideal race power, strengths and weaknesses in your power profile, and how long you can sustain high efforts.
Optimizations to Completing Structured Workouts
Once you finish all phases of a structured workout, the watch now notifies you that you have completed the workout but continues tracking the activity. Previously, the watch automatically switched to the pause screen and stopped tracking the activity. This new functionality applies to structured workouts synced to the watch from the COROS app, and Basic Intervals created on the watch.
Optimizations to Threshold Heart Rate calculation
Your Threshold Heart Rate has been optimized to better align with your heart rate measured while running at your Threshold Pace. This ensures more accurate heart rate zones and overall fitness metrics. Because of this adjustment, some athletes may notice changes to their Training Load, Training Status, and Recovery values moving forward.
