How do I check the battery level of the POD 2?
- Within the COROS app Devices page (4th tab) and selecting your POD 2
- On your COROS watch by navigating to System -> Accessories -> Added List -> POD 2 (if connected the POD 2 will display a battery percentage)
- Prior to starting an activity on your watch, after your watch detects and connects to your POD 2
How do I know if I am connected to the POD 2?
Start an activity and look for the blinking POD 2 on the watch face. It will stop blinking and display the POD 2's battery level when it is connected to the watch.
How do you wear the POD 2?
The POD 2 can be worn 2 ways, either on the forefoot of your shoe, or clipped on the waistband/shorts. On the waist, the POD 2 should be perfectly centered, not clipped to the side or slanted, and not covered by a shirt, running belt, or other material to ensure proper readings.
Does the POD 2 automatically detect wearing location (shoe or waist) or do I have to manually set the location?
The POD 2 will automatically detect the position it is worn in.
Can I switch wearing position during an activity?
No, the POD 2 needs to remain in the same position it started in for the duration of your run, it cannot be switched during it or the data will not be accurate.
Where should I wear the POD 2 when running on a treadmill?
When running on a treadmill the POD 2 will perform best when worn on the foot.
Can the POD 2 be worn in the rain?
Yes, the POD 2 can be worn in wet conditions and is water resistant up to 3 ATM. Be sure to allow the POD 2 to fully dry after use in wet conditions, as moisture can impact barometric altimeter (elevation) readings.
How do I wear the POD 2 on shoes that have irregular laces?
The POD 2 should always be worn as straight as possible. On shoes with slanted laces (like the Nike Vaporfly) make sure the narrow end of the POD 2 is aligned with the middle toe cap of the shoe.
Can I connect two POD 2's at the same time?
No, you cannot connect two POD 2's at the same time.
Can I connect a POD 1 and POD 2 at the same time?
Yes, you can connect a POD 1 and POD 2 device at the same time. The POD 1 must be worn on the waist and connected using Bluetooth, and the POD 2 must be connected using ANT+.
Can I connect a Stryd and POD 2 to my watch at the same time?
No, you cannot connect a Stryd and POD 2 to the same watch because of the limited amount of Bluetooth connections.
Can I connect a POD 2 and a heart rate monitor at the same time?
Yes, you can connect a POD 2 and a heart rate monitor at the same time.
What if I have two different watches connected to the COROS app?
Once connected to the COROS app, the POD 2 will connect with any watches that are also connected to the COROS app. Make sure to remove the POD 2 from the watch that you are not using, by going to System > Accessories > Added List > POD 2 > OFF.
How do I charge the POD 2?
The POD 2 can be charged via the included Charging Dock. The Charging Dock does not need to be plugged in in order to charge the POD 2. When fully charged, the POD 2 Charging Dock can fully charge the POD 2 5 times, and the Charging Dock can be charged via the included USB-C charging cable.
Can I use the POD 2 with any watch?
The POD 2 will only be compatible with COROS watches, and a COROS watch is required to make use of the POD 2. In particular - PACE 2, APEX 42mm, APEX 46mm, APEX Pro, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, VERTIX 1, VERTIX 2, and all new watches going forward. POD 2 is also compatible with the Decathlon GPS 500.
How does the POD 2 connect to a COROS watch?
The POD 2 pairs as an accessory via Bluetooth.
Will GPS enhancement work in either wearing position?
No, the POD 2 GPS enhancement will only work when worn on the foot.

The POD 2 can help you race in two ways. On hilly terrain you can utilize the Effort Pace to gain a better understanding of your effort regardless of the terrain. On flat terrain, instant pace can help you better dial in your pacing. With instant pace, you can know your pace with no GPS delay to ensure you never go above or below your intended pace.
How do I know if the POD 2 recorded data during my session?
If you wore the POD 2 on your foot, within the activity summary on the COROS app, scroll and look for "Temperature" data. If you see temperature data recorded throughout your activity - this means the POD 2 was successfully paired! If you wore the POD 2 on your waist, simply look for the L/R balance metric within the activity summary and if the data is there, the POD 2 recorded data successfully!
