Use Map Manager to download and delete maps to your COROS watch directly from the COROS app. Map Manager is available for PACE Pro, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, COROS NOMAD, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S, and DURA. If your device is not listed, you can install maps manually to your COROS watch by following the steps in our How to download maps article.
How to Download Maps
- Open your COROS app to the Profile Page and select your device.
- Select Map Manager.
- A global grid displays any maps that you already have downloaded, and areas that you can select to download. Lighter-shaded grids indicate regions that are already downloaded. To quickly jump to a different location, use the search bar near the top of the page to type in the name of a city, country, or landmark.
- Select any individual grids for areas that you wish to download. When you're finished, select the red Download button.
- Your COROS watch will prompt you to connect to WiFi. Select your WiFi network and enter the password on your COROS app. Note: COROS watches can connect to 2.4 GHz networks (5 GHz networks are not supported).
- The map files will begin downloading, and you can access them from the Map widget in the toolbox menu when they're done.
To delete maps, open Map Manager and toggle from Download to "Delete" at the top of the page. Here you can select which areas you'd like to remove from your watch and free up storage space. When you're finished, select "Delete" at the bottom of the page.
