For instructions on how to install DURA's mount on your handlebars, check out this article: How to Install DURA Mount
1 (Digital Dial/CONFIRM):
- Scroll/rotate the dial to move your selection up and down
- Press to confirm a selection
- Press and hold to finish and save your ride
2 (BACK/LAP):
- Press to return to the previous screen (BACK/LAP button)
- Press to record a lap or rest during workouts
- Hold to open Toolbox/shortcut menu during a bike ride
- Plug DURA's charging cable into a USB power adapter or a computer.
- Use your fingernail to open the protective cover located at the bottom of your DURA to expose the charging port. Plug in the charging cable with your DURA. The cable is not magnetic and will not snap in automatically.
- When charging begins, DURA will power on automatically and display the current battery percentage. When the charge is full, DURA will display a green circle and a 100% battery status.
- DURA's solar panels can charge during a bike ride or when DURA is on standby. The status bar on the top of DURA screen indicates the current solar charging efficiency. Over 75,000 lux is optimal conditions for solar charging, and 1 hour of charge in these conditions yields 2 additional hours of ride time.
To start an activity, scroll through the activity menu using the digital dial or touchscreen, and press once to select your desired bike mode. If riding outdoors, please wait until DURA indicates that you have a strong GPS signal. The GPS icon in the middle of the screen will stop flashing, indicating signal is acquired.
Before pressing Start, scroll down to Accessories to pair with any Bluetooth or ANT+ devices such as heart rate straps, cadence sensors, or power meters. (See this article for more information: How do I pair DURA with external sensors?)
To pause your ride, press the digital dial once. To finish and save your ride, from the paused screen, scroll to “Finish” and hold the digital dial for three seconds to end the activity.
After finishing the activity, the details page will display. If there are multiple laps or sessions recorded, you can select to view the lap details on the bottom of this page.
To access the previously saved activities on your DURA, scroll to Activity Data from the main menu.
From the main menu, scroll to Navigation and select a route to follow and start tracking a new activity. Routes can be synced to DURA from your COROS app. You can either create routes directly in the Explore page of the route or open GPX files from other platforms.
Once a route is synced to DURA, you can customize the following navigation settings:
- Climb: Select this to preview the overall elevation profile along with the distance and grade of specific climb segments along the route.
- Sections: Preview any waypoints on the route
- Direction: Choose between positive or reverse direction
- Deviate Alert: Toggle on alerts to let you know when you go off course.
- Split Screen: Toggle this on to view your map/navigation screen and two data fields simultaneously.
- Turn by Turn: Toggle on automatic turn reminders to guide you through the route. When this is enabled, you will see an arrow appear on the watch screen when you are a short distance away from the next turn.

-
Bike Alarm
- With Bike Alarm enabled, when motion is detected, DURA will sound an alarm and alert your connected phone.
- Select a numerical passkey to lock DURA. Once it is locked, you can either enter the passkey or bring your phone within range, with the COROS app open, to unlock DURA and disable the alarm.
-
Theme Color
- Change the Theme Color to red, green, or blue.
-
Backlight Level
- Choose between Normal or High. If High is selected, battery consumption will increase.
- Note: Due to the nature of the Memory in Pixel (MiP) screen used on DURA, visibility is the best when used in outdoor environments under direct sunlight. The stronger the sunlight is, the better the screen visibility is.
-
Touchscreen
- Choose between Map Only or Always On. With Always On, you can scroll through menu options and data pages, and tap any option to select it.
-
Tones
- Enable or disable Key Tones and Activity Tones.
-
Calibration
- Calibrate the elevation by manually entering your current known elevation, or stand outside in an open area and calibrate via GPS.
- Calibrate the compass by rotating DURA horizontally and vertically.
-
Units
- Swap between Imperial (feet) and Metric (meters).
- You can also modify the units you see in the COROS app: Profile page → Settings → Units → Imperial / Metric.
-
Satellite Systems (GPS Modes)
- Auto: DURA selects the best satellite setting to both optimize battery life and ensure a strong signal.
- All Systems On Mode: All Systems On mode turns on all satellite systems simultaneously, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and QZSS. Previous generations of GPS devices only allowed for 2-3 systems to be turned on at once, we highly recommend that All Systems on is the GPS mode used for everyday workouts.
- Dual Frequency: This is the most powerful and accurate satellite mode available. This powerful mode enables DURA to communicate with satellite systems in two simultaneous frequencies, bringing next-level accuracy even when you are in challenging conditions or environments.
-
Map Direction
- Swap between Heading Up or North Up while using navigation.
Toolbox menu: During any bike ride, press and hold the BACK/LAP button to open the Toolbox menu.
- Navigation: Select a pre-downloaded route to follow. If you are already following a route, use this menu option to customize navigation settings such as deviate alerts or turn by turn.
- Activity Settings: Modify your activity alerts and accessory connections in the middle of your ride.
- Auto Pause: Turn on/off
- Split Screen: View map and data pages simultaneously in this hybrid view. You can turn this feature on/off. "Off" will take you back to the normal viewing mode, with map and data pages on separate screens.
- Notifications: View previous notifications received on your DURA.
- System: See above for options to customize background color, map direction, and more.
