COROS watches and COROS DURA are equipped with barometers to detect air pressure changes, which can be used to predict and detect weather changes. In the event of an incoming storm, the Storm Alert feature on your COROS device can notify you in time should immediate actions be needed to keep you safe during training and daily use.
How it Works
Whenever the barometer detects a drop of 4 hPa or more within 3 hours, a Storm Alert will be triggered, whether you are recording an activity or in standby mode. If you have Do Not Disturb enabled, you will still receive a Storm Alert if one is triggered.

To enable this feature, open the System menu on your watch > select Sensors > Barometer > Storm Alert > ON.

To enable this feature, go to System > More Settings > Storm Alert.
