August 2025 Feature Update Highlights

Adventure Journaling

Record and relive your activities in greater detail with adventure journaling, an immersive way to document your activities. With adventure journaling, you can save photos and videos to your activities, and save Pins with audio, text, and photos.

Adventure Journaling documents your regular activity stats like pace, heart rate, elevation, and more, but you can also record voice pins, upload photos and videos, and rewatch your activities with the 3D flyover feature.

To start journaling, begin tracking any outdoor activity and open your COROS app to the first page. Click Extender to view the current activity in progress. Create pins from your watch by long-pressing the Back button and scrolling to the Pin widget, and you'll see these appear in Extender, where you can take notes and upload media for each pin.

For more details about using Adventure Journaling, check out our article here.

Updates to Extender

We've expanded Extender to do more than just show your data on a larger screen. Now you can capture moments during your outdoor activities with photos, videos, and voice pins—all saved directly to your activity.

On all COROS watches, open Extender and select either the Pin or Camera icon on the right side of the screen to mark a location with a voice note (recorded by your phone) or media. Pins, notes, and media can also be edited directly from Extender, or later from the finished activity summary page.

On COROS NOMAD, you can record Voice Pins directly from your watch.

Updates to Activity Sharing: Flyover Videos and Custom Images

We've improved how you can share your activities with friends, whether it's a big PR or an epic day in the mountains. The new activity sharing options give you more flexibility to pick the stats you want to share from your workout, plus you can use pre-made templates that make your activity recaps look just like the pros.

  • Link Sharing: From the activity sharing page, click "Copy Link" to share an interactive route of your activity that your friends and family can view from their mobile browser.
  • Data Summary: Customize what data you want to share in your activity summary, including the GPS track, heart rate, pace, elevation, and more.
  • Custom: Upload your own photo and overlay activity stats.
  • 3D Flyover Video: View a 3D flyover of your GPS track and customize which photos to include along the route.

With each option, easily share your creation with friends and family so they can see your activity details, too. Learn more about activity sharing options here.
