Activity Sharing Options

The COROS app makes it easy to relive and share your activities. From custom photo overlays to immersive 3D flyovers, you can share your workouts with friends, family, or your social media feed.

Here’s how each option works and when to use it.

Share a Custom Photo with Data Overlay

Best for: Highlighting your favorite photo from the activity, while still showing your stats.

  1. Open your activity from the Activity page (second page in the app).
  2. Select the Activity Sharing button near the top right of the screen.
  3. Choose Custom Photo. Here you have the option to use one of the pre-made templates with your own photo, or press the + button to start with a blank design.
  4. If selecting a template:
    • Press the camera button to upload a photo from your phone’s camera roll.
    • Use the aspect ratio button in the bottom right to adjust the size of your photo. Use one finger to drag and reposition your photo within the frame, and two fingers to shrink/enlarge your photo.
  5. If starting from a blank design:
    • Press the camera button to upload a photo from your phone’s camera roll, then press the checkmark to confirm.
    • Use the aspect ratio button in the bottom right to adjust the size of your photo. Use one finger to drag and reposition your photo within the frame, and two fingers to shrink/enlarge your photo.
    • Press the + button to add an overlay. Drag the overlay anywhere on your photo and use two fingers to pinch and shrink/enlarge the overlay.
  6. Save and share your finished custom photo. You can save it directly to your phone's camera roll, or share it via text and social media.

3D Flyover Video

Best for: Telling the full story of your adventure with movement, media, and data in one video.

  1. Open your activity from the Activity page (second page in the app).
  2. If you captured any photos during your activity, click the Sync Media icon on the right side of the screen to pin your images along the GPS track and include them in the flyover video. The available images are ones that share the same timestamp as your current activity.
  3. Next, click the share icon in the top right corner and select 3D Flyover Video.
  4. Select the Media tab to include any photos taken during the activity. (The photos shown here are the ones included from step #2.) The photos will automatically pin to the correct location on your route, and display for a few seconds during the flyover video.
  5. Customize your video with music and a new map style.
  6. Preview your flyover video, then save and share via text, social, or cloud storage.

Link Sharing

Best for: Letting someone explore your full route, see your photos, and interact with voice pins.

  1. Open your activity from the Activity page (second page in the app).
  2. Select the Activity Sharing button near the top right of the screen.
  3. Choose Copy Link to share your activity. The link is valid for 24 hours.
  4. Toggle whether or not to include your Pins (photos, videos, or voice notes you recorded).

What your recipient sees: A web-based version of your activity, complete with GPS route, interactive pins, and stats like distance, heart rate, and pace. No COROS account is needed to view.

Share a Data Summary Image

Best for: Sharing a clean, visual snapshot of your activity on social media or messaging apps.
  1. After completing an activity, go to the Activities tab (second icon from the bottom in the app).
  2. Tap on your activity to open the details page.
  3. Select the Activity Sharing button near the top right of the screen.
  4. Select Data Summary.
  5. Choose a map view or route snapshot.
  6. Customize the metrics (e.g., pace, elevation gain, heart rate) shown in the top field, and any additional graphs below.
