Inshore Fishing mode should be used when an angler fishes close to shore, often in bays, flats or mangroves and typically in shallower coastal waters.
Start
Wait until your COROS watch acquires full GPS and heart rate signals before pressing Start.
Navigation
Select a pre-synced route to follow. Routes can be synced to your watch both during and outside of activities:
- Open the COROS app to the Explore page
- Open the Route Library icon in the top right corner of the screen
- Select a route, then click "Sync with your device" at the bottom of the page
After selecting your route, choose from any of the following navigation settings:
- Elevation Details: Select this to preview the elevation profile
- Sections: Preview any waypoints on the route
- Direction: Choose between positive or reverse direction
- Deviate Alert: Toggle on alerts to let you know when you go off course. If you are deviated from the route for 20 meters (65 feet) and over 10 seconds, the off-route alert will kick in. If you cannot get back on course soon, the off-route alert will be triggered every minute.
Shortcuts
On COROS NOMAD, you can customize the Action button and Back button.
Action button: Choose whether a single press of the Action button adds a new Pin, switches from the map page to other activity data pages, or Not Set.
Back button: Choose whether a single press of the Back button adds a new Pin, switches from the map page to other activity data pages, or Not Set.

- Distance: Distance, current elevation, elevation gain
- Speed: Current speed, average Speed
- Heart Rate: Current heart rate, average heart rate, maximum heart rate, % maximum heart rate, % heart rate reserve, % lactate threshold heart rate
- Casts/Catches: Total casts, total catches
- Others: Calories, current barometer, current temperature, battery
- Page Layouts: Weather, wind, barometer, tide, fish activity period, sun movement, moon movement
