Menstrual Cycle Tracking

Track symptoms, understand patterns, and view predictions for your next six cycles, all from your COROS watch and app.

Set up cycle tracking

To get started, open your COROS app to the home page and scroll down to the Menstrual Cycle card. You’ll be guided through a few quick questions to help the app accurately predict your next six cycles. Answer as accurately as possible for the best predictions. If you are unsure, you can always tap "Skip" to move on.

  1. When did your last menstrual period start? (This is the first day of your most recent menstrual bleeding.)
  2. How long does each menstrual period usually last? (Count from the first to the last day of bleeding.)
  3. How long does each menstrual cycle usually last? (Count from the first day of one period to the day before the next one starts.)

If needed, you can update your period or cycle length anytime in the Menstrual Cycle Settings menu. Any changes you make will automatically adjust your future predictions.

How to log a period

To log a period, scroll along the top of the Menstrual Cycle page to highlight the desired date. Select the white circle underneath the date. The circle will turn solid pink, indicating a logged period. You can log any flow, cramps, or other symptoms below.

To log multiple days at once, select the calendar icon in the top right corner of the Menstrual Cycle page. Next, select "Log Period" in the top right corner. Select any days to log a period. You can also tap on any existing days to delete a logged period.

Making changes to your past periods or current period may change your predicted cycle length and predicted period duration.

How to log symptoms

Each day, you can record personal notes and log symptoms for fatigue, nausea, cravings, mood changes, and more. On predicted period days, you'll also have the option to log your flow and cramps. From the Menstrual Cycle page, scroll down to Symptoms to enter your information for the current day or historical days.

Ovulation Prediction: Turning this on adds your predicted ovulation days to the menstrual cycle calendar. You can also enable an Ovulation Reminder to receive an alert one day in advance, which will appear on your watch at your set Wake Time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see the Menstrual Cycle feature in my COROS app?

The menstrual cycle feature is available in app version 4.2.17 or later. Make sure your COROS app is up to date from your phone's App Store.

In addition, the feature is only visible if your gender is set to Female. To update this, go to Profile > Settings > Profile > Gender, and select Female. If you later switch your gender settings back to Male, the cycle tracking feature will remain available.

How does COROS predict my periods?

COROS currently predicts your next six cycles based on the period and cycle lengths entered in your Menstrual Cycle Settings. Making changes to your past periods or current period will also change your predicted cycle length and predicted period duration. Adaptive or "smart" predictions may be added in future updates.

How can I make my cycle predictions more accurate?

To improve prediction accuracy, please ensure your period length and cycle length are correct in your Menstrual Cycle Settings. And on days that you have a period, remember to log your period in the COROS app. If predictions seem off, you can adjust these settings at any time or delete misrecorded periods.

Why didn't I get a period reminder alert on my watch?

Period reminders are supported on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, and VERTIX 2S.

If your device is compatible but you didn't get a reminder, check your Wake Time in the app (Profile > Settings > Sleep Time > confirm the listed Wake Time is correct). Reminders are delivered at this time.

If you have multiple watches connected, check if the alert appeared on another device.

Can I track my cycle if I have an irregular period?

Yes! COROS predicts your next six cycles based on the period and cycle lengths in your settings, so irregular patterns may make predictions less accurate. Irregular cycles can still be tracked, but the accuracy of predictions is limited. It is recommend to manually log periods when they occur by tapping the white circle under the current day, and it will turn solid pink when logged. This in turn will adjust your future predictions.

Why don't I see an ovulation phase in my cycle calendar?

Blue circles indicating ovulation won't appear in your calendar if:

  • Your actual cycle length is shorter than 20 days, or
  • Ovulation Prediction is turned off in Menstrual Cycle Settings.

Additionally, if your cycle length in the Menstrual Cycle Settings is less than 20 days, future cycle predictions will not show ovulation.

How can I disable ovulation predictions?

Open the Menstrual Cycle Settings menu and toggle off Ovulation Prediction.

How can I export my cycle history?

Currently, cycle history in the COROS app cannot be exported or synced to third party apps. However, you can view your cycle history by selecting either "6 Months" or "Year" at the top of the Menstrual Cycle page to view your typical period and cycle length and historical logged symptoms.
