Charging PACE 4

Locate the charging port on the back of PACE 4. The metal pins on the charging adapter fit snugly into the charging port. Plug in the adapter to the watch until it snaps into place. The adapter will lie flush against the back of the watch.

Next, plug in a standard USB-C cable to the other end of the charging adapter. Once your USB-C cable is connected to power, your PACE 4 will begin charging.

Display: The AMOLED touch screen on PACE 4 delivers an enhanced experience with improved visibility and a wider range of options for customizing your display settings. Most watch screens will feature darker or black backgrounds, since AMOLED screens require more energy to display lighter/white backgrounds. From the main menu on PACE 4, scroll to System > More Settings > Display to view the following options:

  • Brightness: This setting adjusts the brightness level on the watch screen.  Standard brightness is recommended, but High and Max levels are also available.  Selecting High or Max will increase battery consumption.
  • Always On: When this setting is toggled ON, PACE 4's screen will remain illuminated.  During activities, the screen will become dimmed when your wrist is lowered, and in standby mode, the watch face will dim and become less busy so you can still view the time of day (but not daily data).
  • Gesture Backlight: When this setting is toggled ON, the backlight is activated whenever the watch detects a wrist raise.  When your wrist is turned down, the backlight will turn off.

Sleep and Wellness Features

COROS PACE 4 tracks several wellness features, including sleep, naps, overnight HRV, and wellness checks.

Sleep and Nap Tracking: Wear your watch to sleep to automatically receive sleep data and nap tracking. COROS watches will track sleep 24 hours a day. Sleeps shorter than 3 hours will be categorized as a nap, while sleeps longer than 3 hours will receive a sleep quality score. You can view historical sleep data in the first page of your COROS app. Make sure your Sleep Settings are accurate in your COROS app > Profile page > Settings > Sleep Settings. (Note: The times listed are in 24-hour time format.) For more information, see How COROS Watches Track Sleep.

Overnight HRV: Your COROS watch will automatically measure heart rate variability, or HRV, anytime you wear your watch to sleep. Measuring your HRV overnight is an easy, non-invasive way to monitor your body's autonomic nervous system's response to stress. To receive your Overnight HRV, wear your watch to sleep for 5 nights to establish a baseline. Once you have done so, you will be able to see your assessment in the first page of your COROS app. Learn more here: Overnight HRV

Menstrual Cycle Tracking: Track symptoms, understand patterns, and view predictions for your next six cycles, all from your COROS watch and app. To get started, open your COROS app to the home page and scroll down to the Menstrual Cycle card. You’ll be guided through a few quick questions to help the app accurately predict your next six cycles. This feature is available for users who select "female" as their gender setting in the COROS app. Learn more here: Menstrual Cycle Tracking

Sync with 3rd Party Apps

Link your COROS account with 3rd party apps such as Strava, Training Peaks, and more to enjoy a fast and seamless data syncing experience.

To get started, open your COROS app to the Profile page (fourth tab). Scroll down and open Settings. Select 3rd Party Apps > Data Sync > select the app you wish to pair. Follow the guided setup process to log in to the other app and link both platforms.

For a list of supported 3rd party apps, please click here.

To use navigation, open any GPX file with your COROS app, or sync with Strava, Komoot, RWGPS, or other third parties to sync your favorite routes. You can also open the COROS app to the Explore page (third tab) to create your own route.

Your saved routes are stored in the Explore page (third tab) in your COROS app. Click the starred folder icon in the top right corner. Select any of your routes to view details and sync with your watch.

To follow a route on your PACE 4, open your desired activity mode and scroll down to Navigation before pressing start. Here you can select a route to follow, and customize navigation settings for the route direction, turn alerts, and more.
