Troubleshooting Unsynced Workouts on COROS Devices

If one or more activities recorded on your COROS watch are not syncing to the COROS app, do not uninstall the COROS app and do not reset your watch. Both of these scenarios may cause the unsynced data to be lost. Instead, follow the troubleshooting steps below to try and resolve the issue:

Step 1: Force a Manual Sync

  1. Make sure your watch and phone are near each other with Bluetooth enabled.
  2. Open the COROS app and pull down from the top of the screen to trigger a manual sync.
  3. Wait up to 2 minutes. Larger activities may take longer to transfer.

Step 2: Check Your Connection

  1. Confirm the watch is connected to the COROS app. On the Profile page, you should see your watch icon with a connected status.
  2. If the watch shows as disconnected, open the COROS app and wait for it to reconnect. You can also try toggling Bluetooth off and on in your phone settings.
  3. Make sure the COROS app is running in the background and has not been force-closed. Force-closing the app prevents Bluetooth sync.

Step 3: Restart Both Devices

  1. Restart your phone.
  2. Restart your watch by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds until the COROS logo appears. If you are unsure which button to hold, see Button and Watch Layout.
  3. After both devices restart, open the COROS app and attempt to sync again.

Step 4: Record a Test Activity

Sometimes, recording a 1-minute test activity and syncing it to your COROS app can help trigger previous activities to get pushed through as well.

  1. Start a Run activity (or any other activity mode).
  2. Let the activity record for 1-2 minutes, then finish and save.
  3. In your COROS app, swipe down from the first page to trigger a manual sync and wait for the new activity to load.

Step 5: Update Firmware and App

Do not uninstall the COROS app if you still have unsynced workouts on your watch. Instead, go to the app store and update the COROS app there rather than uninstalling the app completely.

  • App: Update the COROS app to the latest version from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  • Firmware: Open the COROS app > Profile page > tap your watch icon > check Firmware Version for available updates.

If Activities Are Still Missing

If newer workouts sync successfully but specific older activities remain missing, those activities may need to be manually synced by our support team.

  1. From the main watch face, scroll down to the Previous Activity widget.
  2. Locate the unsynced workout(s) and take a photo of each workout as it appears on your watch.
  3. Share the photos with our support team by going to your COROS app > Profile page > Customer Support > Contact Support > submit the form with the photos attached.
