This update brings several exciting new features to your COROS app and watch.
Voice Control
*Available on COROS PACE 4, COROS APEX 4, COROS NOMAD
Start activities, create reminders, check your sleep and other widgets, and more with just the press of a button. To access Voice Control, press and hold the Action button until the Listening screen appears on your watch. Click here for example voice commands and more information.
Voice Control is only available in English, with support for more languages coming soon. (If your watch is set to a different language, you can still use voice features as long as you are giving the voice commands in English.)
Custom Photo Sharing
Share your activities with all-new overlays, ideal for IG stories, social posts, or video overlays. From the activity summary, tap the Share icon in the top right corner, then choose "Custom Photo." Strength Mode Updates
We've made Strength mode more accurate and more intuitive to use, with several optimizations and new features:
Optimized workout flow
Exercise animations pop up at the beginning of each phase, and automatically transition to your regular data pages after 10 seconds so you can keep your workout details front and center. If you have a rest configured after an exercise, the rest phase now displays the reps and intensity from the previous set, with a 5-second window where you can choose to edit these details. If you don't have any edits to make, the watch automatically transitions to the rest page after 5 seconds (this is skipped if there are exercise sets back to back, with no rests in between). This allows for more seamless transitions throughout your workout.
Dynamic exercise reordering
If you're waiting to use equipment at the gym, or need to skip a phase of your workout, now you have the flexibility to do so. During your workout, press the dial and select "Reorder Exercises" to skip the current set (or future sets), and choose a new set as the next one up. You can always restore the original workout order without losing any of your existing data.
Edit reps and weight more intuitively
We've improved the way you can edit your reps and weight for each exercise:
On your watch: After finishing a set, your watch will prompt you to edit the reps and weight for the set you just completed. Tap the screen or press the dial to begin making your edits. If you don't edit the reps and weight on this page, your watch will automatically progress to the rest interval after a few seconds.
In the app: Open your completed activity from the Activity page in the COROS app. Scroll down to the Exercise section, where you can click the edit icon to adjust the number of reps and the intensity for each set. The muscle heatmap will update based on changes made here. Swipe left on a set if you wish to delete it.
If you recorded a Strength activity without following a structured workout, you have additional customization. Along with modifying the reps and intensity, you can also edit the time spent on each set. You can also add a set that you didn't record on the watch by tapping the + button in the top right corner, selecting the training parts, and manually logging the information for that set.
Rep counting optimizations
For exercises that don't involve hand movement (where auto-detection isn't possible), the watch now intelligently assumes you hit your target rep count. This ensures your data remains complete even when the sensors can't "see" the movement. For movements where counting can be more difficult, the watch now includes a 5 second delay after the target rep count is reached, where it waits to continue detecting if more reps are performed. This ensures the watch stays in the exercise phase until all reps are actually completed, and avoids prematurely advancing to the rest phase before you're finished with the set.
Improvements to custom exercises
When creating custom Strength exercises, you can now tag multiple training parts, primary muscles, and secondary muscles. Your selections here impact the muscle heatmap.
Auto Laps for Running
You can now track your manual splits alongside regular distance alerts, without cluttering your post-activity summary. Open any Run mode on your watch and scroll down to "Auto Lap" or "Activity Alerts" to adjust your settings.
What's new: Auto Laps notify you of a recurring interval based on a chosen distance or position, and mark a lap in your run. Distance Alerts simply notify you, without marking a lap.
