This updates brings new navigation and workout features, new data fields, and more to your COROS DURA or DURA 2 SOLAR.
Offline Navigation
Download offline navigation files to use certain navigation features without cell service or without following a pre-planned route:
- Re-routing (without a network connection)
- Navigate to Start (without a network connection)
- Route-less climb details (DURA 2 SOLAR only): On the Map page, view nearby climbs and see your progress along the current climb, without following a route.
To get started, open your COROS app to the Profile page, and select Offline Navigation.
Start structured workouts mid-ride
Begin a structured workout at any point during a ride, without starting a new activity. Simply press the pause* button during your ride, then scroll down and select Workouts. Choose your desired workout and confirm to start.
*On DURA, the pause button is the dial. On DURA 2 SOLAR, the pause button is the right side button.
DURA 2 SOLAR can also pause a structured workout, continue tracking your ride, and resume the workout later from the same place you left off - all in the same continuous ride.
New Power Curve chart
A new data field is available for the Power Curve chart that updates in real-time. Open your COROS app to the Profile page, select DURA / DURA 2 SOLAR, and choose Activity Settings to customize your data pages to include the Power Curve chart.
Heart Rate Recovery for cycling
You can now view Heart Rate Recovery for each interval, and in your post-activity analysis.
When connected to a heart rate monitor, DURA and DURA 2 SOLAR automatically measure HR Recovery for the first 2 minutes after the last Pause of your ride. You can view your HR Recovery in the activity summary in the COROS app, where it's displayed as a data graph.
In addition to the post-exercise measurement above, DURA and DURA 2 SOLAR also track HR Recovery during each Rest phase of a structured workout. To view your results, open the activity summary in the COROS app and scroll down to the lap details section near the bottom. Tap anywhere on the lap details to expand the table in landscape mode, where you'll see a dedicated column for HR Recovery.
Tire pressure sensor support
You can now pair a compatible tire pressure monitoring sensor to see tire pressure on your device. Open your COROS app to the Profile page, select DURA / DURA 2 SOLAR, and choose Activity Settings to customize your data pages to include data field(s) for tire pressure monitoring.
