Pairing with the COROS app and watch
When using the COROS Heart Rate Monitor for the first time, fully charge the device first. To connect to the COROS Heart Rate Monitor to your COROS device, you have two options:
- Pair with QR Code: Use the QR code scanner in the COROS app to scan the QR code included within the heart rate monitor packaging.

Pair with Bluetooth: Open your COROS app and navigate to the Profile page. Tap on "Add New Device" and wait for the app to detect the heart rate monitor nearby.
- Make sure the COROS Heart Rate Monitor is turned on by wearing the COROS Heart Rate Monitor on your arm or place a finger over the heart rate sensor.
Once the COROS Heart Rate Monitor is paired to your COROS app, it will be automatically added to all of your watches' accessories Added List. You can manually remove the COROS Heart Rate Monitor from your watch by going to System > Accessories > Added List > COROS Heart Rate > Delete.
To pair the COROS Heart Rate Monitor with non-COROS devices, please refer to the following steps:
- Charge the heart rate monitor. The light will turn green when the heart rate monitor is fully charged.
- Wear the heart rate monitor on your arm or place a finger over the heart rate sensor to turn on the device.
- Follow the Bluetooth accessory pairing steps from your non-COROS device to pair the heart rate monitor.
Charging the COROS Heart Rate Monitor
To charge the COROS Heart Rate Monitor, connect the charging cable provided by COROS to the back of the monitor. An orange light will appear while the monitor is charging. Once it is fully charged, the light will turn green.
You can check the battery level of the COROS Heart Rate Monitor directly in the COROS app and on your COROS watch. If connected, the COROS Heart Rate Monitor will display a battery percentage. You will also see the battery level of your COROS Heart Rate Monitor prior to starting an activity when connected or within the COROS app Profile page (4th tab).
Wearing the COROS Heart Rate Monitor
For optimal results, wear the heart rate monitor on either your bicep or forearm. Adjusting the band length is a breeze with the convenient buckle system, allowing for easy customization. When you are ready to clean your band, open the velcro flap to slide off the sensor before washing.
Starting an Activity
The COROS Heart Rate Monitor is designed with a built-in wear detection sensor that detects when it is being worn, automatically pairing to your device each time you start a workout. With this feature, you can seamlessly connect your COROS Heart Rate Monitor, making the experience even more convenient and hassle-free.
When you are ready to record an activity, navigate to the desired activity mode. Stay on the start screen until the heart rate icon is solid, indicating the COROS Heart Rate Monitor is successfully paired. Then press Start to record the activity.
Updating Firmware
To update the firmware on your COROS Heart Rate Monitor, open your COROS app to the Profile page. Tap on the device icon. There will be an option that says "Firmware Version". Tap on this to view the latest available firmware.
