To record a workout with the COROS Heart Rate Monitor directly from your phone, we recommend using a free activity tracking app like Strava, MyFitnessPal, RunTracker, or others available on the iOS and Google Play stores.
Using Strava as an example, open the app and create an account. Once logged in, use the "Record" button at the bottom of the screen. Once you are on the Start Activity screen, select the HR symbol as indicated below.
Once you are in the device pairing settings, make sure to have your COROS HR Monitor charged and worn on your arm to automatically turn on Bluetooth pairing. Select your COROS HR Monitor from the "Available Sensors" section.
Once paired, go back to the Activity Start screen and you will see that your HR is being sent to your phone and the Strava app to view during your activity!
COROS Support Insights
At this time, the COROS Heart Rate Monitor requires a connection with either a compatible smart device, or a 3rd party application such as Strava, to record and collect heart rate and workout data. The device cannot be used to collect activity or heart rate data, nor can heart rate data be broadcasted directly to your COROS App, without this connection.
