*Turn by turn is currently available in the following activity modes: Run and Trail Run (COROS watches) and Bike mode (COROS DURA)
COROS automatically adds turn arrows to routes, whether these are routes created within the COROS app or imported from other platforms. Turn by turn arrows are also synced to your connected COROS device for real-time turn indicators when you reach an intersection.
For more information on how to create and import routes, check out our article here.
Turn by turn for routes created in the COROS app
Once your route is finalized, click the Save button in the top right corner and name your route. After the route is saved, you will see automatic turn arrows appear at each intersection along the route. When the route is synced to your COROS device, these turn indicators will also sync to your device.
Turn by turn for routes synced from other platforms
If you are importing a GPX file, or syncing a route from another platform such as Strava or Ride with GPS, turn arrows will appear automatically after the route is saved to the Explore page of your COROS app.
If you do not see turn arrows right away, try clicking Edit in the bottom left corner, and then Save the route again. This will generate new turn by turn indicators. If a turn indicator looks incorrect, try zooming in on that section of the route to make sure it follows your desired path instead of taking a side trail or nearby path that may cause an extra turn indicator to appear.
Note: If you are syncing a route from another platform that already includes turn directions, these will be overwritten by the turn directions provided in the COROS app.
Why do not I see turn by turn indicators on my watch?
If your route has turn arrows in the app, but these are not visible on the watch when following the same route, make sure Turn by Turn is toggled on in your navigation settings. On your watch, long press the Back button to open the toolbox menu > Navigation widget > select your route > scroll down to Turn by Turn > ON.
