New activity data field metrics and improvements to data page customization
You can now add power to weight ratio and turn by turn directions as data fields.  We've also updated the design for customizing your data pages in the COROS app, making it even easier to add, delete, rearrange, and customize all of your metrics for each activity mode.

Optimizations to paired accessory connections

*Available on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S, DURA

Customize Accessory Names

You can now rename your paired accessories to better identify multiple sensors of the same type.

On your COROS watch, go to the System menu > Accessories > Added List > select your sensor, then scroll to Edit Name.  Open your COROS app to finish renaming the accessory, and the changes will be synced to your device.

On COROS DURA, go to the Accessories menu > Added List > select your sensor, then scroll to Edit Name.  Open your COROS app to finish renaming the accessory, and the changes will be synced to your DURA.

If the paired accessory is a COROS device (for example, a POD 2 or COROS Heart Rate Monitor), the new name will also be reflected in your COROS app.

Low Battery Warning

If your paired accessory has 20% remaining battery or less, your COROS device will notify you with an on-screen prompt once every 30 minutes.

Superlock setting for Outdoor Climb mode

Outdoor Climb mode now includes a unique Superlock setting to avoid unintended unlocking and mis-operation during your climbs.

Before pressing Start, scroll down to Auto Lock and toggle this ON. While recording your climb, the watch will auto lock after 10 seconds of inactivity. To use the watch again, follow these steps:

  1. Press either the dial or Back button on the watch
  2. After the lock screen appears, long press the Back button until you see the "Confirm to unlock" screen
  3. You will have 3 seconds to press the dial to confirm to unlock

When toggled on, Superlock in Outdoor Climb mode functions independently of your Auto Lock settings for your other activities.

Recover deleted activities

You can now recover any activity that's been deleted in the past 30 days.  From the Activity List page in the COROS app, select "All Activities" at the top of the page, then select "Recently Deleted."  This will restore the selected activity to your Activity List, and the data will count towards your fitness metrics again.  Click here for more information on recovering your deleted activities.

Updates to Group Tracking

We've made improvements to our Group Tracking feature that allows COROS watches to display the real-time location of your teammates directly on your watch or DURA, and let's you set a meet-up location in the app. Your teammates will also be displayed with the first and last initial, so you can quickly identify where they are on your map.

Customize your temperature units

You can now customize temperature units independently from the distance and pace measurement settings.

The temperature settings on your watch and app can be customized separately, and they function independently of each other.

In the COROS app, open the Profile page (fourth tab on the bottom) and scroll down to Settings. Select the Temperature option to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

On your COROS device* go to the main menu > System > More Settings > Units, and select Temperature to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

*Available on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S, DURA

Updates to Multisport mode

*Available on PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, APEX 4, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S, DURA

Multisport mode now can have 10 different activities rotated between, or repeated indefinitely. This makes tracking your swimrun, or HYROX activities easy and accurate.

DURA Updates

We've made several improvements for DURA, including revamping the homepage to feature the time of day, date, and ambient temperature, along with the scheduled workout for the day if you are following a training plan.

New data fields are available for DURA including charts, power to weight ratio (watts per kilogram), turn by turn indicators, and the option to add data fields to navigation pages in full screen mode.

  • Charts: View power, speed, heart and cadence data in a new, highly visual format.
  • Power to weight ratio: Expressed in w/kg, get insights into your power data when connected with a paired power meter.
  • Turn by turn: While following a route, view each upcoming turn and the distance remaining to that turn with a dedicated data field next to your other metrics.
  • Add data fields to navigation pages: Previously only reserved for Split Screen mode, users can now add up to three fields of data below the main navigation page.
