*All DJI cameras and drones are compatible with this feature.
With the latest COROS x DJI integration, you can now sync your COROS activity stats to videos recorded by your DJI device. Overlay your COROS data such as GPS, elevation, route details, speed, and more directly on your footage.
Setting Up Your COROS and DJI Devices
Download the DJI Mimo app from the app store, then log in to your DJI account from the Profile page (bottom right tab).
Pair your DJI camera or drone to the Mimo app.
When you're ready to record an activity, first begin tracking the activity on your COROS device. After this, start recording video on your DJI camera or drone.
Tip: For accurate timestamps between your COROS device and DJI device, make sure to connect your DJI device to the DJI Mimo app ahead of time to obtain the correct timestamp from your phone.
When your activity is finished, sync your device to your COROS app. Your DJI footage will sync automatically to your DJI Mimo app, where you can view it from the Album tab at the bottom of the app.
Overlaying COROS Data on your DJI Footage
Now that your activity and footage are recorded, you can overlay and customize your data within the DJI Mimo app.
1. From the Album tab, select the video file you wish to edit.
2. Scroll through the menu options beneath your video and select Dashboard.
3. Select COROS as your data import source. You will be prompted to log in with your COROS credentials to authorize the integration. (If you don't see this menu automatically, click "Data import" on the bottom right of your video.)
4. DJI will automatically sync data from your latest COROS activity with your recorded footage based on timestamps.
5. Now you can select the data points you wish to overlay on your footage, such as speed, route, elevation, grade, and more.
6. When you're finished, click the checkmark in the bottom right corner. Your video will be saved with the new data overlay.
