If you have trouble selecting or scrolling through menu items, it is possible that dirt or debris is stuck inside the dial or button components. This includes the dial not pressing, dial not scrolling, buttons not pressing, or buttons getting stuck in the pressed position. Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Clean the Watch
- Rinse the watch under warm running water for 30–60 seconds.
- While rinsing, gently press and rotate and press the dial and press the buttons several times to help dislodge any debris.
- Dry the watch with a lint-free cloth and let it air dry completely before testing.
Step 2: Restart Your Watch
If cleaning does not resolve the issue, restart your watch by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds or until the COROS logo appears.
The power button varies by device:
- PACE 2, PACE 3, PACE 4, PACE Pro, COROS NOMAD, APEX 4, DURA — BACK/LAP button (lower right)
- APEX Pro, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S — LIGHT button (top)
- VERTIX — Digital Dial (middle)
- APEX 42mm, APEX 46mm — Digital Dial (top)
- PACE 1 — CONFIRM button (lower left)

Step 3: Reset Your Watch
If the issue persists after restarting, try resetting your watch. You can do this from the COROS app > Profile page > select your device > Remove/Reset.
Please note: Resetting the watch will not affect data already synced to your COROS account, but it will remove personalized settings and any unsynced data stored on the watch.
Step 4: Check for Physical Damage
If the dial or buttons remain unresponsive after cleaning, restarting, and resetting, there may be physical damage to the components. Please contact COROS Support for further assistance and include details about when the issue started and whether the watch was exposed to impact or extreme conditions.
