Additional Considerations
If using a third-party wall charger, please ensure that the device is UL certified, and clearly shows the UL marking on the unit. This will indicate that the wall charger is in compliance with, and has been approved by Underwriters Laboratories in terms of their standard safety checklist.
In addition, we only recommend the usage of charging devices / sources that provide a consistent 5 watt (5V with a current of 1A) output to recharge your COROS products. Anything greater than this output (i.e., a fast charger) could potentially strain the battery, and cause premature degradation of the unit. Chargers that provide a lower voltage will result in slower battery recharge times.
What's more, we do not recommend consistently draining the device's battery down below 10%, as well as consistently charging your device to 100% on a daily basis. The battery will operate most efficiently between these ranges, and draining the battery down too low or charging it to 100% too often could place unnecessary strain on the internal components of the device.
