Pairing your COROS watch or device to the COROS app only takes a few steps.
Getting Started
- Download the COROS app from the iOS App Store or Google Play store. You can also visit https://mobile.coros.com/getapp.
- Phone setup: Make sure your phone is connected to WiFi or a cellular network and Bluetooth is turned on.
- Log in to the COROS app or create a new account.
-
Pair your device: Open the COROS app to the Profile page (4th tab on the bottom). For COROS watches and DURA, select "Add New Device." For the Heart Rate Monitor, POD 2, and Bike sensors, select "Accessories."
- Scan the QR code: Locate the QR code in your device's packaging. Position your phone's camera over the QR code to scan it and begin the pairing process. Alternatively, you can select "Pair via Bluetooth" beneath the scanner to locate your device manually.
- Confirm the pairing codes on both your phone and your COROS device. On COROS watches and DURA, press the dial to confirm the pairing code. Without this step, your device will not be properly connected and may fail to sync data.
- Customize your device: The COROS app will walk you through a guided setup process, where you can customize settings and notification preferences. These settings can always be adjusted later at any time, by going to the Profile page and selecting your device.
Requirements
A smartphone running iOS 13 or later, or Android 5.0 or later, is required to pair with your COROS device. The device cannot be used without a connection to a phone, since crucial information such as firmware updates, bug fixes, GPS satellite data, and weather data require syncing with a phone to keep your COROS device running smoothly.
Data cannot be synced with a wired connection, including USB. Your COROS device syncs activity data via Bluetooth or WiFi to its connected smartphone.
Can I sync my COROS device with two different phones?
No, your COROS device can only be paired to and sync data with one phone at a time. This ensures data is synced seamlessly and consistently between the device and phone. Even if you have the same COROS account logged in on two different phones, you can only pair your COROS device to one phone at a time.
Can I use multiple devices with the same COROS account?
Yes! You can pair up to 8 different devices to the same COROS account. Even if you use multiple devices throughout the day, your cumulative data and activities will sync normally and appear in the same account.
If you are wearing two COROS watches and start recording two activities simultaneously, both activities will sync to your COROS account, but only the activity that is synced to the app first will contribute to your accumulated Training Load.
How to disconnect your COROS device
You can temporarily disconnect your COROS device by going to your phone's Bluetooth settings and turning off Bluetooth.
To permanently* disconnect your COROS device from your phone, please follow the steps below:
- Open the COROS app and go to the Profile Page (4th tab on the bottom).
- For COROS watches and DURA, select your device image at the top of the page, then select "Remove." This will restore the device to factory settings. If you have activity data on your watch or DURA that has not yet been synced to the COROS app, please make sure it is synced first. Or, you can turn off your watch/DURA to prevent a factory reset from occurring when you remove it from the app by going to System > More Settings > Turn Off.
- For the Heart Rate Monitor, POD 2, and bike sensors, select the "Accessories" menu, then select your device. Choose "Remove" at the bottom of the page.
- In your phone settings, open Bluetooth and make sure your device is deleted from the list of paired accessories.
Any data that has already been synced to your COROS app won't be affected. If you wish to delete your COROS account, including all of your saved activities and history, please see our article Deleting Your Account.
*Even after disconnecting your COROS device, you can always pair it again to the COROS app at a later time.

Troubleshooting Guide
COROS watches and DURA:
If your COROS device won't connect to the app, or the app cannot recognize the device during the pairing process, please try these steps:
- Restart your phone. Toggle Bluetooth off for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Restart your COROS watch or DURA by pressing the power button for 15 seconds. The screen will go black, and then the COROS logo will reappear on the screen.
During the pairing process, please make sure you are confirming any pairing codes that appear on both your COROS device and the app. You will need to press the dial on your COROS watch or DURA to confirm the code, and also select "pair" on your phone. If this step is not completed, the pairing process may fail.
If scanning the QR code does not work, select the option "Pair via Bluetooth" directly beneath the scanner to try and locate your device.
Heart Rate Monitor, POD 2, and bike sensors:
- In the COROS app, make sure you are pairing your device by going to the Profile page (4th tab) and selecting the Accessories menu. These devices cannot be paired in the "Add New Device" button at the top of the page, but must be paired from within the Accessories menu.
- Restart your phone. Toggle Bluetooth off for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
- For the Heart Rate Monitor, make sure the green light on the back of the sensor is flashing, indicating the device is in pairing mode. You can activate the green light by holding your finger to the sensor for a few moments, or by wearing the Heart Rate Monitor on your arm.
- For the POD 2, make sure the light on the front of the POD 2 is flashing, indicating the device is in pairing mode. You can activate the light either by shaking the POD 2, or by placing the POD 2 in its charging dock for a few moments, then taking it out again.
If the above steps do not work, try restarting your COROS device:
- Restart your Heart Rate Monitor:
- Plug the HRM into the charging cable.
- As soon as the orange light appears, remove the charging cable.
- Wait 2-3 seconds and plug in the cable again.
- Repeat the plug-unplug cycle 5 times.
- When you unplug the cable for the 5th time, the orange light should flicker several times, followed by a steady green light. This indicates the reset was successful.
- Restart your POD 2:
- Place the COROS POD 2 in the charging dock for 2 seconds. The yellow light should flicker on and off twice.
- Immediately take the COROS POD 2 out of the charging dock and wait for a stable green light.
- Repeat the previous steps four times, and the restart process is completed.
- Restart your bike sensors by removing the battery, then replacing the battery again.
If your COROS device and phone are frequently disconnected, activity data has issues syncing, or notifications are not coming through consistently, please try the steps below:
- For COROS watches and DURA, turn off the device by going to System > More Settings > Turn Off.
- Open the COROS app to the Profile page (4th tab). Select your device at the top of the page. (For the Heart Rate Monitor, POD 2, and bike sensors, you can find your device in the Accessories menu.)
- Select "Remove" at the bottom of the page.
- In your phone's Bluetooth settings, forget/delete the COROS device from the list of paired accessories.
- Restart your phone. If your COROS device is still powered off, turn it on by pressing the power button for 15 seconds until you see the COROS logo.
- Follow the pairing process listed at the top of this article to pair your device to your COROS app again.
- Important: During the pairing process, please make sure you are confirming any pairing codes that appear on both your COROS device and the app. You will need to press the dial on your COROS watch or DURA to confirm the code, and also select "pair" on your phone. If this step is not completed, the pairing process may fail.
Alternatively, you can also try performing a hard restart on your COROS watch or DURA. Press and hold the Power button for at least 15 seconds, or until you see the COROS logo.
- Remove the device on the COROS app.
- Restart the phone.
- Enter airplane mode on your phone.
- Enable GPS/Location services.
- Wait for 30 seconds and exit airplane mode.
- Pair the device on the COROS app via “Pair COROS Device Manually” instead of scanning the QR code.
Please follow the steps listed below:
