Pairing issues with COROS watches or DURA
If your COROS watch or DURA is unable to connect to the COROS app or your phone, follow the steps below. If your device was previously paired to the COROS app, you will need to first remove it from the app before attempting to pair again.
- Toggle Bluetooth on your phone: Open your phone’s settings and turn Bluetooth OFF. Wait 30 seconds, then turn Bluetooth ON again.
- Restart both devices: Restart your phone, then restart your COROS watch or DURA by holding down the power button for 15 seconds, or by going to System > More Settings > Turn Off.
- Remove existing Bluetooth connections: Go to your phone’s Bluetooth accessories list. If your COROS device appears in the list, select it and choose Forget or Remove.
-
Pair via QR code: Open the COROS app to the Profile page. Select "Add New Device" and scan the QR code displayed on your watch or DURA screen. If you need to find the QR code screen again on your COROS device, go to System > Pair Phone.
- Important: If a pairing code appears on both the phone and the device, you must confirm the code on both the phone and your COROS device. Press the dial on the watch/DURA to confirm the pairing code. Ignoring or rejecting the pairing codes may cause the pairing process to fail.
-
Pair manually (if QR scanning fails): In the COROS app, select “Pair via Bluetooth” located below the QR code scanner. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.
- Important: If a pairing code appears on both the phone and the device, you must confirm the code on both the phone and your COROS device. Press the dial on the watch/DURA to confirm the pairing code. Ignoring or rejecting the pairing codes may cause the pairing process to fail.
- Factory reset the device: If pairing still fails, perform a Factory Reset on your COROS device by going to System > More Settings > Reset > Factory Reset. Please note, this will permanently delete any unsynced data stored on the device. Any data that has already been synced to your COROS account won't be affected.
Pairing issues with Heart Rate Monitor, POD 2, or Bike sensors
- Toggle Bluetooth on your phone: Open your phone’s settings and turn Bluetooth OFF. Wait 30 seconds, then turn Bluetooth ON again.
- Remove existing Bluetooth connections: Go to your phone’s Bluetooth accessories list. If your COROS device appears in the list, select it and choose Forget or Remove.
-
Enter pairing mode on the COROS device:
- For the Heart Rate Monitor, wake up the sensor by wearing it on your arm or placing a finger over the sensor. When you see green lights emitted from the sensor, that means the Heart Rate Monitor is ready to pair.
- For the POD 2, wake up the sensor by placing the POD 2 in the charging dock for a few seconds, then taking it back out. When you see a green or orange light emitted from the POD 2, that means it is ready to pair.
- For the Bike sensors, remove the batteries and place them back in the sensor.
- Pair via Accessories menu: Open the COROS app to the Profile page. Do not select Add New Device at the top of the page. Instead, select the "Accessories" menu. Select "Add" in the top right corner and choose the sensor that you are trying to pair. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
Additional troubleshooting for iPhone
In your phone settings, make sure Bluetooth access is enabled for the COROS app: iPhone > Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth > COROS > ON.
To check that your device is properly paired with your iPhone, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. If there is not an "i" icon next to the paired device, it is not properly connected. Please follow the steps in this article to remove it from your phone and try the pairing process again.

Invalid QR code issue
When pairing your COROS watch or DURA, the QR code screen will list the 6-digit device ID in the format of "ID: 123ABC". You can access the QR code page on your device by going to System > Pair Phone.
If the device ID is missing from this screen or replaced with "vx", you will not be able to pair the device with your phone anymore. Please try factory resetting the device and see if the device can pair. Contact support if the issue remains.
