If you cannot pair the device with your phone, check if the Bluetooth connection is lost. A Bluetooth disconnection icon will show up on the main device face. “Please connect to the COROS App” will appear on the Notifications widget. Additionally, you will not be able to manually sync the data by pulling down the Progress page in the COROS app.
Please follow the steps to fix the Bluetooth connection.
- In your phone settings, toggle Bluetooth OFF. Wait 30 seconds and toggle back ON. Open the COROS and try swiping down from the first page to perform a manual sync.
- If that does not work, please turn the device off: System > More Settings > Turn Off. Then turn the device on by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Try a manual sync again.
Invalid QR code issue:
The QR code page on a functioning device will list the 6 digit device ID in the format of "ID: 123ABC" once the device is disconnected from the phone.
Access the QR code page on your device via System > Pair Phone.
If the device ID is missing or replaced with "vx", you will not be able to pair the device with your phone anymore. Scanning the invalid QR code will receive an error message "This device is not supported". Please reset the device a few times and check if the issue remains. If so, please contact support@coros.com and list the following info to begin the replacement process.
- A copy of the product order receipt
- Current shipping info
- Product model/color/size info
- A photo of the invalid QR cod
- COROS account email
- 6 digit device ID
iPhone issues:
Please go to the system settings on your iPhone and check if you have disabled Bluetooth access for the COROS app.
- On your iPhone > Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth > COROS > ON.
- Bluetooth Pairing Request > Pair.
If you Cancel the request, the device will still be able to pair with your phone. However, the connection will become very unstable and disconnect easily.
To determine if your device is properly paired with your iPhone, check the Bluetooth settings. If there is not an "i" icon next to the paired device, it is likely connected incorrectly. Please follow the link below to remove the device from the COROS app and restart the pairing procedure.
Android issues:
For Android users experiencing connection issues every time the Bluetooth is restarted, please try changing the Bluetooth AVRCP protocol version in Developers settings and restart the phone.

Android OS issues:
Unfortunately, there is a known occurrence with Android 10 and 11 users on Bluetooth connection issues, including failure to reconnect after disconnection. COROS has made no changes to the COROS app and products in terms of Bluetooth connectivity. After testing and investigation, we have concluded that the Bluetooth connection issue was caused by the Android 10 and 11 Bluetooth compatibility affecting all device types with BLE connection.
It is unfortunate that as the manufacturer of Bluetooth devices, COROS has limited solutions to fix this unless Android releases new updates to Android 10 and 11 users to improve the Bluetooth compatibility. Android is known to release major updates without fully testing the compatibility with all devices. Good news is that Android may release a new update soon.
Although this isn’t an issue with the device itself, here are some solutions to help in the meantime. Please make sure to update the Android system version once new updates are available. The COROS engineering team is also in contact with the Android team for this matter. You can also try the following steps to see if they fix the issue temporarily. It’s not guaranteed but this is the best we can do for now.
- Remove the device on the COROS app.
- Restart the phone.
- Enter airplane mode on your phone.
- Enable GPS/Location services.
- Wait for 30 seconds and exit airplane mode.
- Pair the device on the COROS app via “Pair COROS Device Manually” instead of scanning the QR code.
NOTE: Bluetooth headsets use Bluetooth 2.0 (Classic Bluetooth) and smart wearables generally use Bluetooth 4.0/5.0 (BLE). These two protocols and systems are different.
