Activities Not Uploading to Strava

If you are experiencing difficulties uploading an activity to Strava, please follow the steps below:

Check the status pages

There can sometimes be widespread outages with syncing activities to Strava. Please check both the Strava Status Page and the COROS Status Page for the latest updates. If there is a current issue identified, please wait to try any further troubleshooting steps until the status page reports that the issue is resolved.

Troubleshooting for iOS Devices

  1. In the COROS app, go to the Profile page > Settings > 3rd Party Apps > Data Syncing > select Strava. Select "Disconnect" to temporarily disconnect both apps.
  2. Next, force close the COROS app.
  3. After doing so, clear the cookies in your phone's default browser. If the issue persists, try temporarily switching to a different browser (such as Google Chrome) and clearing its cookies as well.
  4. Restart your phone.
  5. Go back to the 3rd Party Apps page in the COROS app and follow the steps to connect with Strava again. Any future workouts should now sync to Strava.

If you are not prompted to log in to your Strava account during the connection process, or after making the connection you are not automatically jumped back to the COROS app, please try copying the URL into a different browser on your phone.

Once the two apps are reconnected, please note that any historical unsynced activities won't be synced to Strava. It will be necessary to manually upload any impacted workouts.

Troubleshooting for Android Devices

  1. In the COROS app, go to the Profile page > Settings > 3rd Party Apps > Data Syncing > select Strava. Select "Disconnect" to temporarily disconnect both apps.
  2. Change your phone's browser back to its default setting, if you have a different one currently chosen.
  3. In your phone settings, clear the COROS app cache.
  4. An "Open with" option must appear on Android phones in order to open the Strava login page. Please go to your phone settings and delete the default references for the COROS app. This will help restore the “Open with” window.

  5. Go back to the 3rd Party Apps page in the COROS app and follow the steps to connect with Strava again. When the "Open with" pop-up window appears, select COROS App as the option.

Additional Troubleshooting

If you are using a VPN, please disable it and try connecting to the Strava app again.

Make sure you are signing in to the correct Strava account. Sometimes a second account can be created by mistake. To confirm your Strava account, open your Strava app to the first page and click your profile picture in the top left corner. Then click the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner. Scroll down to "change email" so you can preview the email associated with your account. When you're setting up the COROS x Strava integration, make sure you're signing in with this email.
