Upon approval, you will receive access to the team training features in Training Hub.
Upon entering the training hub, you will see your own personal dashboard. Select the multiple-person icon to open your team sidebar. From here, you can select which team (if you manage multiple), you would like to view. Upon selecting a team, you will have the athletes appear in the main window of the screen.
To create a team, select the gear icon on the left sidebar. From here, select “Create a Team”. In order to create a team, you will need to fill in all of the required information. Once the required information is entered, you can copy the link and send it to athletes you’d like to join your team. Once athletes accept, you will see them appear under your team settings in the application list. Click on your application list and approve your athletes. They are now part of your team!
When on the main screen, select the team you’d like to manage. From here, you will have the option to sort athletes by plan completion, fatigue, and marathon level. Click on these tabs to sort athletes from top to bottom. This is a great tool to use for coaches who want to see how much fatigue each athlete has compared to the rest. The same came can be said for the other sorting options.
When in the main team view, simply select an athlete to pull up their personal dashboard. From here you have access to the athletes' dashboard, EvoLab metrics, Workout List, and Calendar. You can fully manage athletes if they allow coaches access in their privacy settings (default settings allow coaches to manage athletes in their team).
To analyze a workout, select a workout from the athletes' “Workout List” tab. A new window will open that shows the data from that activity. Using the dropdown menu in the top left corner, you can select up to 4 metrics at a time. Coaches have the opportunity to zoom in on selected features as well.
This window also contains lap summaries (customize the metrics you want to see), time in zones, and the ability to leave a comment.
From the Calendar view, select a day that you would like to create a workout for. Click the “+” sign on the day. A pop-up window with “Training”, “Workouts”, and “Events” will appear. Training will provide you with a quick and easy way to create an activity. Workouts provide a coach with more options. You can include a warm-up, intervals, multiple reps, rest periods, and a cool down. To add more steps to a workout, select “Add”. This will create a new portion of the workout if desired. By selecting “Grouping” you can pair portions of the workout to create multi-step repetitions. When done creating the workout, simply save it and it will appear on the day. Your workout will also save in the workout library.
Within the Calendar view, select “Training Plans” on the right side of the screen. This will open your training plan library. In order to create a new plan, just select “Create a training plan” at the lower portion of the screen. A new window will appear where you will enter a title, description, and then plan workouts. When you are done with the training plan, select save. Your plan will appear in the training plans library. Drag and drop the training plan onto your desired start date. All of the upcoming days will auto-populate.
You can also schedule a Training Plan for all of your athletes by simply going into your team page view and dropping a training plan on the team name. After doing so, all athletes will have that specific training plan on their calendar.
