Troubleshoot
Nothing happens when I long press the Action button.
Voice Control is available on PACE 4, APEX 4, and COROS NOMAD running the latest firmware version. Please check your phone's app store for any updates to the COROS app, then head to the Profile page for any new firmware updates for your watch.
Voice Control doesn't recognize my command.
If the watch does not recognize your request, it will prompt you with an on-screen message to try again. Please keep the following best practices in mind:
- Only English voice commands are supported at this time. If your watch and COROS app are set to a different language, you can still use Voice Control, but any voice commands that you give must be spoken in English.
- After opening Voice Control, make sure to speak slowly and clearly, keeping the watch approximately 3-5cm away from your lips while speaking. Keep your fingers and clothing away from the microphone holes (located on the side of the watch bezel, between the dial and back button).
- Speak simple phrases rather than long sentences.
- Use specific requests. For example, instead of saying "Switch lane" during Track Run mode, say "Switch to lane 3."
- If you are in an area with significant background noise, press the dial after you finish speaking so your watch recognizes that you are done speaking.
Please note that not all features or functions can be controlled with your voice. Reference the Daily Use and Activity Use sections at the top of the article for examples of what types of commands are supported.
