Build a shareable photo with your training data overlayed - such as distance, pace, heart rate, your GPS track, and more.
Getting Started
Open the COROS app to the Activities page. Choose any of your completed activities, then press the share icon in the top right corner. Select Custom Photo.
Build From Scratch
Tap the + button at the top of the page to start with a blank canvas.
Select the photo icon at the bottom of the screen to select an image from your camera roll. Tip: If you're exporting your overlay to use on top of video, keep the background fully transparent.
Three buttons appear along the bottom of the editor:
- Left — swap your background photo
- Center (+) — add an overlay
- Right — change the aspect ratio
Resize your photo. Tap the right button to open aspect ratio options. Choose from standard horizontal or vertical formats. To resize your photo, pinch or expand with two fingers. To reposition it, press and drag with one finger.
Add overlays. Select the center + button to browse the overlay library. You can layer multiple overlays on a single photo. To resize an overlay, pinch or expand with two fingers. To move an overlay, press and drag with one finger
- Some overlays support changing the metric. To do so, double-tap the overlay, then choose from distance, time, pace, speed, heart rate, and more (available metrics vary by activity type and overlay)
- Some overlays support changing the color. Press to select the overlay, then tap the color wheel that appears. Choose a preset color or use the color picker to match something in your photo.
- To delete an overlay, press and hold it, then drag it down onto the trash can icon.
Use a Pre-Built Template
Not sure how to design your shareable photo? Use one of our templates instead. After selecting the Custom Photo option from the activity sharing page, select one of the designs from the template gallery.
Next, select the photo icon at the bottom to add your own image from your camera roll. Tip: If you're exporting your overlay to use on top of video, keep the background fully transparent.
The same toolbar appears along the bottom, with the following options:
- Left — swap your background photo
- Center (+) — add a new overlay
- Right — change the aspect ratio
All overlay controls work the same way as when building from scratch (resize, reposition, change metrics, change colors, delete).
Save and Share
When you're done, tap Share in the top right corner. Save the image to your camera roll, or share directly via text, social media, and more.
FAQs
How do I resize my photo? You can resize your photo only within the aspect ratio page. Select the right button on the bottom of the customization page to open the aspect ratio page. Here you can shrink and enlarge your photo by pinching and expanding with two fingers. With one finger, press and drag your photo to reposition it within the frame.
How do I delete an overlay? To delete an overlay, press and hold the overlay, then drag it downwards and place it on top of the trash can icon that appears.
How can I use my overlay on a video? When creating your custom photo, videos can't be selected as the background image. Instead, use the transparent background behind your overlay (rather than selecting a photo). When you export your overlay, save it to your camera roll, and it will save as a PNG image to preserve the transparency. You can then use a third party video editing app or software to add your exported overlay on top of a video clip.
