Climbing GPS Optimizations

* Available for APEX 2 Pro/VERTIX 2/VERTIX 2S

GPS tracking on steep walls has long been a problem for the GPS industry. Although dual-frequency technology has helped, watches still have issues with signal reflections that can distort your GPS track, making it look like it is jumping across canyons, walls, and inaccurately recording your movements. This issue is especially common in narrow canyons, chimneys, and off-width cracks. To address this, COROS watches that support Outdoor Climb mode and dual-frequency satellite technology uses a special GPS algorithm during the Climb phase to enhance tracking accuracy on steep climbs.
