We are excited to unveil a brand new feature for COROS devices - the ability to create and track custom activity modes! With this feature, you can now easily create your own workout mode for activities that are not officially supported by COROS. Whether you are into outdoor adventures, or specialized sports, custom activity modes allow you to tailor the tracking experience to fit your needs.
Creating Your Custom Activity Mode
To create a custom activity mode, open the COROS app and navigate to the Profile page (4th option) and select your device. Select Custom Activity to get started.
The app will lead you through a set of prompts to customize your new activity details. Based on your responses, you'll receive recommended data metrics.
- Enter a unique name for your new custom activity and select an icon that best fits the activity.
- Select your environment (Outdoors or Indoors).
- Choose your data types (time and heart rate, distance and speed, elevation, EvoLab, and map).
- Customize your data pages. Click here for more tips on customizing the layout and metrics for your data pages.
- Customize your shortcut settings for pressing the Back button (Lap, Save Location, Save Checkpoint, or N/A).
- Customize your activity alert settings for distance, speed, and/or nutrition.
Recording a Custom Activity on Your COROS Watch
To record a workout on the watch with the activity mode you have just created, press the CONFIRM button once to open the System menu from the main watch face. Scroll to select Custom Activity and press the CONFIRM button once to expand the custom activities workout menu.
For outdoors activities, please wait until the GPS signal is fully acquired before starting your training. Otherwise the GPS tracking accuracy may be severely affected.
