We understand how important maintaining a record of activities can be to our users. Strava is a service many athletes use for the sharing of their activities, but you likely want your historic activities saved in your new COROS account as well. Below is a guide of how to import your eligible historic activity data from Strava to your COROS account.
Strava has instructions for requesting a bulk important of all of your data on their service, instructions for doing so can be found here: Strava Bulk Data Export
- Log into the account on Strava.com from which you wish to bulk export data.
- Hover over your name in the upper right-hand corner of the Strava page. Choose "Settings," then find the "My Account" tab from the menu listed on the Left.
- Select “Get Started” under “Download or Delete Your Account.”
- Select “Request your archive” on the next page.
- You will receive an email with a link to download your data (this may take a few hours.) For this reason, it’s important that you have access to the email account attached to your Strava profile.
Once your data is available, you will receive an email with a link to download your data. Downloading it will provide you with your data via ZIP file. Within that ZIP file contains a folder labeled "Activities". This is where all of your workouts are stored.
You will need to compress that "activities" folder into a ZIP file so that you can upload them into your COROS account.
Next, follow these steps to upload eligible workouts onto your COROS account via the COROS Training Hub:
- Go to the User Login portal from coros.com or t.coros.com
- Log in to the portal with your COROS account credentials.
- Click on Activity List to view workouts saved on your COROS account.
- Click on Import Data → Select File
- Select the ZIP file you just created with your Strava activities
PLEASE NOTE when uploading the files, it may take over an hour to complete depending on how large the file is. Please keep your browser open until the upload completes, at which time the uploading progress page will refresh.
Additionally, you may see an error message after the upload completes stating that the upload failed. That refers to certain activities not being compatible and failing to upload, but all compatible activities will have successfully uploaded.
After completing the upload, it may take 30+ minutes before the activities appear in your account as they are being processed. Not all activities will impact your COROS training EvoLab metrics due to being recorded on a non-COROS device, but any eligible activities should now appear in your account and the details can be viewed anytime!
