Downloading Maps to DURA

You can download and delete maps on DURA directly through the COROS app. DURA supports global landscape and topographic maps. Street names are not viewable on maps, but street names will appear with turn indicators when following navigation.

How to Download Maps

Download and delete maps stored on your DURA directly in the COROS app:

  1. Open your COROS app to the Profile Page and select DURA.
  2. Select Map Manager.
  3. A global grid displays any maps that you already have downloaded, and areas that you can select to download. Lighter-shaded grids indicate regions that are already downloaded. To quickly jump to a different location, use the search bar near the top of the page to type in the name of a city, country, or landmark.

  4. Select any individual grids for areas that you wish to download. When you're finished, select the red Download button.
  5. Your DURA will prompt you to connect to WiFi. Select your WiFi network and enter the password on your COROS app. Note: DURA can connect to 2.4 GHz networks (5 GHz networks are not supported).
  6. The map files will begin downloading, and you can access them from the Map widget in the toolbox menu when they're done.

To delete maps, open Map Manager and toggle from Download to "Delete" at the top of the page. Here you can select which areas you'd like to remove from your DURA and free up storage space. When you're finished, select "Delete" at the bottom of the page.

Viewing Maps on DURA

Once your DURA has maps downloaded, you will see a default maps page appear any time you track an outdoor ride.  Simply use the dial or touchscreen to scroll through your data pages until you see the map view.

You can also customize the map direction by going to System > More Settings > Map Direction, and choose North Up or Heading Up.

To view your data fields and map on the same page, turn on Split Screen mode by going to the activity settings menu for your desired bike mode, then scrolling down to Split Screen.
