Downloading routes
Before following a route on DURA, you first need to upload the route to your COROS app. You can do this in a few ways, either by creating a route directly within the app, or importing from another source.
- Create a route: Check out our article on the Explore Page for details on how to create routes within the COROS app.
- Sync routes from other apps: If your COROS account is linked to 3rd party apps such as Strava, Komoot, or Ride with GPS, you can automatically sync routes from those platforms directly to your COROS app. The synced routes will appear in your Route Library folder in the Explore page.
-
Import a route: To import a route from another source, such as a race website, open and save the route using the COROS app.
- First, download the route from the website in GPX format.
- Select the GPX file. When prompted to choose an app to open the file, select the COROS app.
- Press "Save" to save the route to your app.
Syncing routes to DURA
Once you have routes saved in your COROS app, you can sync them to DURA before or even during your ride:
- Open the app to the Profile page
- Select your DURA
- Select My Routes
- Select the plus (+) icon in the top right corner, and choose any routes from the list. The routes on this page are those currently saved in your My Collection folder.
- Select Sync to send the route to DURA.
Note: We recommend uploading routes that are no more than 2,000 kilometers long. If your route is longer, please consider breaking it up into smaller individual routes.
When you are ready to start an activity and follow a route on your DURA, scroll to Navigation, then scroll through the available routes on your device. Select one to begin following the course and tracking an activity.
