Automatic Nap Detection

Your COROS watch automatically tracks sleep 24 hours a day, including detecting naps throughout the day. Your first recorded sleep for the day that's longer than 3 hours will receive a full sleep quality assessment, while any other sleep that day is logged as a nap.

Timed Naps

If you are planning to take a nap and wish to have an alarm set, you can set up a timed nap from the Toolbox menu. From the main watch face, long-press the Back button and scroll to the Timed Nap widget, and select any duration between 15 - 90 minutes. Your watch will alert you when the timer is complete, and the sleep data will be tracked as a nap and included in your sleep summary for the day.

How to Manually Log a Nap

Open the Sleep card from the first page in your COROS app and scroll down to the Sleep Stages section. Press the edit icon, then add your nap with your known sleep time and wake time.

Sleep Quality Score

Although individual naps do not receive a sleep quality score or assessment of sleep stages, they do contribute to your total sleep time for the day, which in turn impacts your Sleep Score - if you also have a longer (3+ hours) sleep period recorded for that same day.
