1. Insert a new battery into the bike speed sensor.
The COROS Bike Speed Sensor operates on a CR2032 button cell battery. To open the battery cover, twist the cover counterclockwise. After placing the new battery inside, twist the cover clockwise to secure it. The LED light on the front of the sensor will illuminate to indicate the sensor is awake.
If the metal cover has come loose, please install the metal cover and the battery in this order: First, place the metal cover inside the speed sensor. Next, place the battery on top of the metal cover.
2. Connect with the COROS app.
- You will need to download and create a COROS account to set up your cadence sensor.
- Once you are logged in, open your COROS app to the Profile page (fourth tab on the bottom).
- Scroll down and select "Accessories".
- Select "Add New."
- Wait for the pairing process to complete.
3. Mount the sensor on your bike.
- Insert the speed sensor into the silicone case. Ensure the COROS logo on the front of the silicone case is facing the same direction as the COROS logo on the sensor.
- With the sensor inserted properly in the silicone case, wrap the strap from the case around either the front or rear wheel hub of your bike.
- Fasten the strap from one side of the silicone case around the wheel hub, and attach it to the hook on the other side of the case to secure it in place. The strap should fit snug, without needing to stretch excessively.
- Once the sensor is mounted, you can wake it up again by rotating the wheel twice.
