Widgets - Notifications

How to Enable Notifications

  1. Open your COROS app to the Profile page (fourth tab)
  2. Select your device
  3. Select the Notifications menu
  4. Toggle on Notifications (for daily use) and/or Notifications During Activity (to receive notifications during workouts).
  5. Next, choose the apps that you wish to receive notifications from, or select "All" to enable all. (If your desired app is not listed here, make sure "Other" is toggled on.)

View Notifications on Your COROS Watch

You can easily access the Notification widget from the main watch face by scrolling up or down. Supported notifications include texts, messages, emails, calendar alerts, and phone calls. COROS devices do not support emojis, images, or videos.

While tracking a workout, notifications will appear briefly on the main watch face, if you have enabled notifications during activities.

How to Delete Notifications

While viewing the notification widget on your watch, press the dial to select and delete the current notification.

Deleting notifications on your watch will not affect the notifications received on your phone.

How to Manage Phone Calls

When your COROS watch displays an incoming phone call, you can choose to silence the notification or reject the phone call.

  • To silence the phone call notification, press the Back button once. This stops your COROS device from alerting you about the call, but it can still be received on your phone.
  • To reject the phone call, press the Dial button. This also rejects the phone call from your phone, and the call will not be answered.

On COROS APEX 4, you can also receive phone calls directly on the watch via the microphone. Click here to learn more about this feature.

Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb mode allows you to mute all push notification alerts on your COROS watch. Incoming notifications will still be received on your COROS watch in the background, where they are viewable in the Notifications widget.

To enable Do Not Disturb, long press the Back button to open the toolbox menu and scroll to Control Center. Select Daily Mode, and change this to Do Not Disturb.

Disable All Notifications

To stop receiving all notifications on your COROS device, open the COROS app to the Profile page, select your device, and open the Notifications menu. Make sure all apps are toggled OFF.

To temporarily disable notifications, you can use Do Not Disturb mode (explained above) or toggle off your phone's Bluetooth, which will interrupt the connection between your watch and phone and inhibit notifications.

Troubleshoot

If you are experiencing issues receiving notifications on your COROS device, first try toggling all notifications OFF and back ON from the Profile page in your COROS app.

If that does not work, try removing and re-pairing your COROS device to your phone.

  1. First, turn off your COROS device (System > More Settings > Turn Off).
  2. Remove the device from your COROS app by going to the Profile page in the app, selecting your device, and selecting Remove.
  3. Turn on your device by holding the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Re-pair the device from the Profile page in the app.
  5. Enable notifications again from the app.
