COROS watches have different button layouts depending on the model. You can identify your watch model by opening your COROS app to the Profile page, or by checking the model type engraved on the back of your device.
3-Button Layout with ACTION Button
PACE 4, APEX 4, COROS NOMAD

DIGITAL DIAL - top right button
- Scroll/rotate the dial to move your selection up and down
- Press to confirm a selection
- Hold to finish a workout

BACK/LAP Button - bottom right button
- Power on the watch
- Press to return to the previous screen (BACK/LAP button)
- Press to record a lap or rest during workouts
- Hold to open Toolbox/shortcut menu

ACTION Button - bottom left button
- During daily use, the Action button turns on the backlight.
- During activities, the Action button is customizable. Choose whether to record voice pins, or swap between activity data pages and the map page.

APEX Pro 1, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, VERTIX 1, VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S

LIGHT BUTTON - top right button
- Power on the watch (except for VERTIX 1, which use the digital dial)
- Press to turn on the Backlight
- Configure a custom shortcut by going to System > More Settings > Light Key Shortcut
