Monitor your device's power usage and battery trends with the Battery Health page, available directly in your COROS app. Open the app to the Profile page, select your watch, then scroll down to the Battery Health menu to view your usage details.
Understand Your Device's Battery Health
In the Battery Health page, you can view the following details:
- Days used since last charge
- Estimated daily battery remaining
- This estimation refers to daily usage only, and does not include activity tracking.
- Estimated GPS hours remaining based on your current satellite mode (for outdoor activity tracking)
- Today's usage compared to your typical usage for this day of the week
- You can also toggle through any of the previous seven days to view that day's usage compared to your typical usage for that day of the week. "Normal" usage is anything at or below your typical drain for that day. "High" is usage above your typical amount for that day.
- Atypical usage (anything that is higher or lower than your typical usage) does not necessarily indicate a battery issue. This number simply reflects how much more or less battery your device consumed, compared to its average battery consumption for that day of the week.
At the bottom of the page, you can see which features consumed battery life for the current selected day. You can view these details for the current day, or any of the previous seven days.
- General Use includes regular system operations that cannot be disabled.
-
Outdoor activities include any activity mode where GPS is used.
- The satellite mode is also included here. Dual Frequency (or "Max") will consume more battery life than All Systems (or "High"). You can change your satellite mode from the System > More Settings menu on your watch
-
Screen/Display refers to any time your watch screen is illuminated.
- This number can be significantly higher for AMOLED watches, especially if Always On setting is enabled, or if the brightness level is at the highest setting. You can change both of these settings from the System > More Settings > Display menu on your watch.
-
Notifications include any texts, emails, or other notifications that are pushed to your watch.
- Customize your notification preferences from the COROS app > Profile page > select your device > Notifications.
-
Activity Alerts include any lap alerts, distance alerts, and others that your watch has triggered during all of your activities tracked on that day.
- Activity alerts are unique to each activity mode, and can be customized by opening the start screen on your watch (for example, Run mode), then scrolling down to Activity Alerts.
-
Daily HR refers to daily heart rate tracking.
- By default, your COROS watch measures heart rate once every 10 minutes throughout the day. This can be increased in the System > Sensors menu to once per minute, which consumes more battery life.
- Stress Tracking refers to your Daily Stress measurement, which can be toggled on or off from the System > More Settings > Daily Stress menu.
-
Sleep Tracking includes heart rate and other sensors necessary to calculate your sleep stages and sleep score each night.
- This feature cannot be disabled. Sleep is automatically tracked each time you wear your watch to sleep.
- SpO2 Tracking refers to your blood oxygen measurements. This can be taken on-demand with the SpO2 widget in the Toolbox menu, or automatically in high altitude when Altitude Mode is enabled.
- Other features including WiFi, Flashlight, Alarm, Timed Nap, Compass, Metronome, and more.
Each feature's battery usage is shown as a percentage of your watch's total battery capacity - not as a share of each other. The percentages add up to your total usage for the day, rather than 100%. For example, if your watch used 11% of its battery on Thursday, the features listed will total 11%.
View Battery Usage on Your Watch
Long press the Back button to open the Toolbox menu, and scroll to the Battery widget to view your watch's current battery level at a glance. Press the dial to open the widget and view the estimated battery life remaining for daily use and GPS tracking.
Previously, the watch's Battery Usage widget also included a detailed breakdown of which features were consuming battery during the current charging cycle. To ensure the most complete, accurate battery analysis, we've moved the detailed battery usage details to the app. The watch still tracks the underlying battery usage data, but the detailed breakdown and insights are now available in the Battery Health page, where we can provide more context and a richer view of how different activities and settings affect battery life.

Abnormal Battery Detection
Your COROS watch has built-in hardware monitoring. If a critical hardware failure is detected, you will be alerted with a support banner in the Battery Health page, so you can access assistance immediately. If you haven't received an alert but feel like your watch battery is draining quickly, you can always reach out to our support team via the Customer Support button in the Profile page.
