DURA supports pairing with most power meters via Bluetooth and ANT+. Up to 12 sensors can be paired to DURA simultaneously during a ride. If multiple sensors of the same type are paired, DURA will only use data from one sensor.
To pair a new power meter with your DURA, follow the steps below:
- From the main menu, scroll to System > Accessories > Add Accessories.
- Make sure your power meter is powered on and in pairing mode.
- DURA will begin searching for nearby devices.
- When your power meter appears, select it on DURA screen to complete the pairing process.
Once your power meter is paired, DURA will automatically search for and connect to any devices that are added to its Accessory List.
If your power meter is dual-sided, DURA supports both left and right power data.
If the connection between your power meter and DURA happens to drop in the middle of a ride, you can reconnect them by long pressing the Back button > scroll to Activity Settings > Accessories > select your device.
Calibrating Your Connected Power Meter
At times, especially after adverse weather, large changes in temperature/humidity, or swapping equipment, power meters require calibration to ensure accurate readings. Another term for calibration is "zero offset," referring to the state of zero load on the power meter.
The calibration process can look different depending on your specific power meter. We suggest looking at the product manual for your power meter or referring to this article for best practices when calibrating.
When calibrating a paired power meter, DURA will display the calibration status and final calibration value.
Viewing the Battery Level of Your Connected Power Meter
View the battery level of your connected sensor by going to System > Accessories > select your sensor.
You can also view the battery level in real time during activities. To do so, set up your DURA data pages ahead of time. See our article Customizing Activity Data Pages on DURA for detailed instructions on how to do so.
