DURA supports pairing with most indoor smart trainers via Bluetooth and ANT+. To pair a new smart trainer with your DURA, follow the steps below:
- From the main menu, scroll to System > Accessories > Add Accessories.
- Make sure your trainer is powered on and in pairing mode.
- DURA will begin searching for nearby Bluetooth and ANT+ devices.
- When your smart trainer appears, select it on DURA screen to complete the pairing process.
DURA supports ERG mode on most trainers. This is a setting that auto-adjusts your speed and cadence to maintain a fixed power output. ERG mode works with structured workouts to ensure you are hitting the power targets for each interval, regardless of how your cadence and speed change.
For example, if your workout requires you to hold 250 watts, the resistance will automatically increase if your cadence drops, or decrease if you spin faster, in order to keep you at 250 watts.
How can I check the battery level of my electronic shifters?
View the battery level of your connected smart trainer by going to System > Accessories > select your device.
You can also view the battery level in real time during activities. To do so, set up your DURA data pages ahead of time. See our article Customizing Activity Data Pages on DURA for detailed instructions on how to do so.
