Caring for Your DURA 2 SOLAR
To keep your DURA 2 SOLAR looking and performing its best, we recommend regular cleaning, especially after exposure to excessive dirt, sweat, sand, or other elements.
Cleaning DURA 2 SOLAR
- When to clean: On a weekly basis at minimum, as general maintenance to ensure proper functionality. We recommend cleaning DURA 2 SOLAR any time the device was exposed to sand, dirt, or other debris. (DURA 2 SOLAR is rated IP67 and can be used while riding in the rain.)
- How to clean: Rinse DURA 2 SOLAR with clean water by removing it from your bike mount and running it under a faucet. While rinsing, press the buttons on DURA to remove any debris or build-up.
- During bike cleaning: You can leave DURA 2 SOLAR on your bike while doing routine bike cleaning/power washing, but take care not to spray the device directly with a power washer.
- Drying: Gently wipe it using a lint-free cloth. Ensure all holes and gaps are free of moisture, or place DURA 2 SOLAR in a well-ventilated area to air-dry completely before attempting to charge.
- Charging port care: Clean charging contacts with a lightly moistened cotton swab and ensure they are fully dry before charging.
Things to Avoid
- Do not expose DURA 2 SOLAR to extreme heat or cold, steam rooms, compressed air, ultrasonic cleaners, sharp objects, or chemicals.
- Please avoid using any direct chemicals (bleach, non-diluted cleaning agents, etc), or any photo or light-emitting disinfectant/cleaning products, as these may damage the screen or sensors.
- If using cloths for drying, please use lint-free cloths to avoid fabric "sticking" in or to the bike computer.
- Do not dry with high heat.

- Avoid extreme heat: Keep DURA away from high temperatures. This includes saunas, steam rooms, or anywhere above 60°C (140°F).
