Downloading and Syncing Routes to DURA

Downloading routes

Before following a route on DURA, you first need to upload the route to your COROS app.  You can do this in a few ways, either by creating a route directly within the app, or importing from another source.

  1. Create a route: Check out our article on the Explore Page for details on how to create routes within the COROS app.
  2. Sync routes from other apps: If your COROS account is linked to 3rd party apps such as Strava, Komoot, or Ride with GPS, you can automatically sync routes from those platforms directly to your COROS app.  The synced routes will appear in your Route Library folder in the Explore page.
  3. Import a route: To import a route from another source, such as a race website, open and save the route using the COROS app.
    • First, download the route from the website in GPX format.
    • Select the GPX file.  When prompted to choose an app to open the file, select the COROS app.
    • Press "Save" to save the route to your app.

Is there a limit to the route size I can sync to DURA?  There is no size limit, but for optimal performance and processing speed, we recommend keeping routes under 2,000 kilometers, 100MB in file size, and <200 waypoints.

Syncing routes to DURA

Once you have routes saved in your COROS app, you can sync them to DURA before or even during your ride:

  1. Open the app to the Explore page
  2. Select the route library icon in the top right corner
  3. Open the route you wish to sync
  4. Click Sync with Your Device on the bottom of the route page
  5. Click "Send"

Note: We recommend uploading routes that are no more than 2,000 kilometers long. If your route is longer, please consider breaking it up into smaller individual routes.

When you are ready to start an activity and follow a route on your DURA, scroll to Navigation, then scroll through the available routes on your device.  Select one to begin following the course and tracking an activity.
