What are Pins?
With your COROS watch and app, you can easily save your favorite viewpoints, notable locations, and other points of interest as Pins. Pins are saved along your activity route in real time to build a personal journal for your voice notes, photos, and other memories.
How to Create Pins During a Ride
During your activity, you can save specific points along your route such as water fountains, coffee stops, or other points of interest to remember for future use. There are two ways to save a Pin during a ride:
- From the map screen: While viewing the map, press the Pause button. Scroll down through the pause menu and select "Pin Current Location."
- From activity data pages: Before you can mark Pins from data pages, you'll need to customize your device button.
- Go to System > Activity Interface > Left press. Choose "Add Pin."
- Once this is done, use the Left side button to save a Pin.
View Your Saved Pins in the COROS App
Every Pin is saved along the track of your finished activity summary, and also saved to the Explore page in your COROS app. Select any of your Pins from either the activity summary or Explore page to edit the name, add photos, or type notes.
While viewing a Pin, select the star icon to mark it as a Favorite. You can easily locate your Favorited Pins by opening the Route Library folder in the top right corner of the Explore page, and toggling to Pins.
In the Explore page, the search bar not only functions as a way to quickly jump to a location, but also to search through all of your Pins. After typing your keywords in the search bar, toggle to "My Pins" to filter your results.
View Your Saved Pins on DURA 2 SOLAR
On DURA 2 SOLAR, you can view a list of your nearby saved locations. To do so, open the Navigation menu from the home screen, and toggle to the "Pin" menu. Not all of your saved locations may show here - only those close to your current location. When you select a pin from this menu, DURA 2 SOLAR will generate a route from your current location to take you there.
